Yeah, nah, bro.

I'm also having fun. And yes the loot is "better" because you just hit level 70 everything is better because you have no gear yet. I bet you play standard.

loving RoS right now.
If this game and that game could somehow combine, the world would be better. This game wins on competitiveness, depth, devs and creativity. That game wins on killing stuff and getting loot and performance/graphics. As a solo, self found player I would rather a game that I grind and get better gear for it. That's why I was advocating the SFL so much, I would never leave PoE if that happened. Rampage IGN: RIP_Stannis_Baratheon

I'm thinking about buying RoS (and D3) as I've never played vanilla D3.
From the reviews so far, RoS seems to have fixed a lot of the early issues, and now looks quite tempting for someone who has become deathly bored of PoE's endgame (running low-level maps, wasting orbs on "crafting", spamming trade chat). ✮ in-game @FTMFW

" I think we all should try RoS. There are a lot of issues PoE can't fix for years. I know GGG is a small company with limited budget, but many problems in this game are just testing the faith and loyalty of PoE players. Players play game for fun, not to stick with a game because of loyalty. I Love This Game Now, Being a Summoner Hardly Associated with Desync ♫

" Key words. Will be interesting to see how long people enjoy it. Not trying to troll, I played it on my friends 360 although its not true loot 2.0 it has smart drops and it was fun for about a month. Unfortunately it still lacked character customization, which is pretty much the selling point for me. Was fun to co-op on a console, reminded me of old D1 on my brothers playstation :D |

I disagree.

I suppose if I were being objective in my assessment the loot and endgame are better in D3. That doesn't fix the huge flaws with no feeling of character development etc. Although it is nice playing a AAA quality game. It has real HC too. Partying isn't a pain in the ass due to being over burdened with excessive skill particles... I would say the pros of D3 vs PoE are more from a technical standpoint rather than actual game substance.

The entire idea of their loot system is based on getting upgrades now, and not later. They DRASTICALLY advanced the gear curve, to the point that if you're the kind of player who "goes all out", you will quickly find you're SoL for upgrades for extremely long periods of time.
I'm not even knocking the game, it's a fantastic HnS, BUT, it doesn't play like an rpg. Or rather, doesn't feel like one. If you're a casual player, meaning less than 10 hours a week, I would suggest you check it out. I just can't stay with it, because it doesn't feel like my character. Edit. As per OP, despite the introduction of adventure mode, there's still no endgame. At least, how I've come to interpret one. You can't challenge yourself in *different* ways.
