People are not playing now because of d3/eso, but everyone will be back soon.
" Desyncs discussions are my favourite. Everybody always understand it and never have any misconceptions, they never make wild speculations and they are totally capable of grasping the fact that if you undersample a signal you can't reproduce or match it and that if you additionally have huge error tolerance you have no HOPE for synch to begin with. Oh, and I blame the community for desync's persistence almost as much as I do GGG. It plays like typical bullshit politics (with the same sort of outcomes), you have confusion, pandering and a stupid populus incapable of forcing change. |

" This is an important point. I power-played PoE quite a bit when Ambush came out, and it did lead to more frustration with the game. Part of it because of various design decisions, but no doubt also part because of the amount of time I played. It led to me being slightly more negative than I usually am. I realized it, too. It's why I think I'll probably play the "dead" HC league and pick some long-term goals that aren't competitive, without the pressure that the temporary leagues involve (and also self-found). Playing a few times a week rather than daily.
" it's fun will last all of a few weeks for most of the blizz-tards silly enough to be fooled twice. |

...for those crying about optimization for amd...
My partner has a lowrange amd setup, poe runs perfectly fine at 2ksomthingXsomething resolution with everything set to max I have yet to see any performance issues people claim this game has in action besides desync.... and we both play summoner based builds mostly...... Seriously, do you play this on a frikkin pre ww2 piece of museum tech? The only system i have this game seen not run on was a shitty and OLD first gen xp laptop.... I have seen AAA titles run worse on better tech..... |

" Some very simple points for you. PoEs desync is far worse than other games. GGG did this on purpose. People are upset with the level of desync, as they dont have to deal with the extremes in other games. GGG does not care, they had a vision and they are sticking to it. GGG does not care if their vision is wrong. As a succesful company, AMD for example, would you do business with a company that is not willing to stray from their vision for the sake of not straying? A company that does something so amateur? Dont answer that, AMD didnt either :) "just for try, for see and for know"

Another little snack for thoughts...
Who here has actual knowledge in network tech and protocols? Who of you people knows about the costs of a datacentre? Ever wondered why so many f2p have hewg p2w tags? |

" PoE runs terrible for me on ATI RADEON HD 7700.
" Haha costs of a data center has actually zero things to do with desync. And yes I do rent a server in a data center. Edit: two servers actually. Last edited by glh5#3285 on Mar 29, 2014, 4:25:03 PM

" Yes. | |
" Then i wonder how terrible your setup is if you get any problems with that mid-tier card I use a evga nvidia 560 gti ftw sc since my last upgrade (been a while), my partner has a radeon 5850, we have no rpoblems (i run 16gb ram as dual channel, he just upgraded to 32 as dual channel) Only reason i dont upgrade is because games are optimized for console hw.... RENTING a server does not equal to MAINTAINING it, do you have any actual knowledge about the technology of this? I bet your rented server have connection limits and speed caps as well... not thousands of connections... *edit* @Mivo [Removed by Support] i got some picks with the desync as well (the part where it sends the packets in spikes instead of smaller steadily... kinda confusing...)
