People are not playing now because of d3/eso, but everyone will be back soon.

What you can't seem to grasp is that PoE and most arpgs are games with a very low skill ceiling. So "shitty gaming abilities" as you say have pretty much nothing to with it.

And yet some people are way ahead of others, weird huh? In poe the biggest power you can have is knowledge. Knowledge over mechanics, items and the economy make or break if you are successful in this game or not. And some of the lower class players cant accept that and get mad at the game and the devs.

edit: to get this clear: if you cant even manage to break the 70s and blame someone other than yourself for it then go play another game and whine on their forums.

The knowledge aspect is purely how to flip/trade/scam until you purchase the loot for your specific build. There's no gameplay skill involved.

+100 to you for telling current players to go find another game, as I am also actively trying to sabotage GGG's finanacial stability. :D

Just like d2. Which was/is still a huge success. Just need some open world pvp parties/flags and im hooked for life.

This made me almost instantly uninstall PoE until they fix their game. And yes, it's not my wooden PC (laptop), it's the game.
And no, it's not just me, a lot of players with medium-high specs have performance issues, and they are leaving because of that.

Much funnier is the GGG excuse why they don't remove performance decreasing issues.

It's one of the worst experiences in my gaming history, I still can't grasp how that even managed to happen... It really pissed me off.

Do you have a Radeon graphics card? GGG fails to improve performance on Radeon cards, apparently AMD doesn't want to help them either... so yeah.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Well I guess that would depend on ones *specific build*.Definitely was never part of my experience.

Are you suggesting that D2 was a big success because of trading ? You'd need evidence for that claim before I'd even consider it seriously, you do have facts right right, not just opinion ?

That's kind of like the crowd that say D2 was big success because of PvP.

This is pretty hilarious.

Apparently AMD doesn't want to help them either?

It reads almost like you expect it to be a given and AMD are being asshats for not optimizing a POS engine with virtually no tech from the last decade, in a f2p game.

This has absolutely nothing to do with AMD.

I asked them bro, they said they contacted AMD about some optimization questions but never got an answer. Not saying the bad performance is AMD's fault, but Nvidia is very helpful to gaming studios when they ask about optimization on Nvidia cards.

Even if that's true, did they decide to give up after these questions? Are they wholly incapable of looking elsewhere, asking other developers, trying things themselves?

If I can fucking optimize things reasonably for AMD gpus, and many other developers can do so without requiring AMD's direct assistance they really REALLY don't have any sort of excuse.

It's incompetence, plain and simple.

Edit: To be fair, I haven't run PoE on an AMD GPU since about 2 years ago, my ranting is entirely dependent on performance actually sucking on AMD GPUs, I have no clue about that.

Oh yeah, and to address and invalidate the OP to an extent.

I'm not playing PoE and not because of D3/ESO or really any game in particular. PoE actually is boring, shitty or gets boring or shitty for some people and they stop playing.

Can you really blame any company for staying as far away as possible from GGGs fucking awful set up?

If you are willing to release a game with desync as bad as it is, you kind of become a joke to serious companies.
"just for try, for see and for know"
cuz people play the game for literally 1000 hours straight.. of course u gonna get burned out haha.

1000 hours of entertainment for the price of.. oh FREE?

not a bad deal.

I'm sure people will be back soon as a new league, or content, or etc.. comes out.
