Corrupting Blood ? My life leech begs to differ. 20 stack of it and my life still doesn't drop.

No it isn't. All damage based nemesis mods are based on rare single hits. Map and rare modifiers further boost them.

Golems happen to have huge damage so they're one of the more worse examples. The highest damage enemies would include colossal skellies,devourers,avian wretches.

@OP The amount of damage you do is irrelevant. I used an incinerate build as well. All you have to do is kill the rare mob fast enough then pop the bleed flask when the bleed is at a high count. I personally used 2 bleed flasks in nemesis for my infernal blow character that got 20 stacks even faster than my incinerate build. You won't need to do this in these new leagues since such a dangerous CB will rarely appear. Most CB enemies are quite tame, in nemesis you had to worry about them appearing in every double damage map.

If you're taking too long to kill the CB then the issue is your actual build killing too slow.

Still works fine against CB in 1.1
CB is a total BS mechanic since the only thing it requires is an additional flask, so i had to drop 1 nice flask just to not die to CB shit...

If I can avoid dying to CB with LMP Incinerate, I think anyone can. Pop a bleeding flask or pay careful attention to rare mods so you can deal with them carefully. It might be nice if there was a visual indicator.

I played Nemesis, and I never did to Corrupted Blood. And I'm the kind of crazy mofo that lets it stack to 20 without Staunching it UNTIL the mob is dead..

Granted, I had some close calls when it rolled on a [physically] strong mob, but not unreasonable.

You just have to pay attention, have a decent build, and not be an idiot.

I <3 Corrupted Blood, it's my favorite Nem Mod, it gives such fun adrenaline rush when you don't Staunch it... :P

Storm Herald though, that one is crazy ridiculous and overpowered.. Even with 91% Lightning Res, I've nearly died to those guys when they shock stack you through a Topaz.. >_<

Never died from Corrupted Blood once but maybe because i played Nemesis... Sure, for standard player it comes a bit as a surprise but if you die more than once from CB then you just plain sucks
