GGG: Thank you for not treating us like this (no reply needed- just wanted you guys to see this)

I think PoE and D3 are both good games.

PoE is a bit too RNG dependent for my tastes though.

You say D3 is not difficult in the slightest, then please elaborate on the wonderful complicated system that is in place in PoE, don't worry i'll wait.. Nothing but RNG wall after RNG wall, no skill is needed whatsoever if lady luck is on your side, the game is a giant roulette wheel and all you need to do is get lucky and the game is easy. The combat is stale, no need for any sort of thinking whatsoever due to the blatant gear checks in game that are supposed to be 'difficult'.. As soon as you pass the RNG wall you just hold right click and the game is trivial, if you don't desync a thousand times LOL. And I think you'll find D3 has a lot more meta games in place than PoE does now, it's okay to live in denial though I get it.

PoE = Frustration, not difficulty.

then why are you still here? just to see how bad poe is? well if thats the only reason then you just admitted that you are a fanboy. nice trolling, swifty

Because like I said, I've been here for 10 months. Hopefully the team shows some sign of competence and bucks there ideas up to what the community was promised back in CB, not this glittery, laggy piece of uninteresting shit that is currently PoE. Oh please, throw more insults it really makes me smile! So cute I nearly blushed ;)

Edit: I can see you've been here since release which does sort of explain your lack of logical reasoning, you wasn't here to witness the good times of PoE so what your playing now isn't a problem :)

1. ive been here since early open beta, im using two accounts

2. im not insulting any1 just like that, im not that kind of person

3. you still didnt say why are you actualy keep playing poe

Synopsis: For the past month or so, this company promised a special wing effect in game, for anyone who preordered. Their advertising across their websites proudly marked this amazing feat of in game customization.

"Early this afternoon, we ran a special script to award eligible players who have digitally prepurchased some game their Wings of Valor. This script completed this afternoon around approximately 5:00 pm PT. Shortly after this script was run, we uncovered an issue that affected the delivery of the Wings of Valor for certain players"

The issue was... every single player who had preordered before *TODAY*- the date it was supposed to become available, were NOT able to get their microtrans when it was promised.

While anyone who ordered today would receive their bonus right away (frustrating people who had the faith to preorder much earlier).

Now, they effectively didn't communicate anything about this to the playerbase, until they were heading home for the day, many hours after they knew the problem existed, and exacerbated it by telling the players there would likely be no resolution until the next day, at a minimum.

"We don’ t yet have an exact ETA to share for when [this] will be delivered, but we’ll be sure to provide an update in this thread as soon as we do"

And ended with a fairly hollow apology, to everyone who'd already preordered their game.

"We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and will be sure to keep everyone updated as we work to get you your sparkly spoils"

I just wanted to contrast that with how you guys handled this: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/849236 (the server downtime), and thank you for keeping your players to heart, and not taking us for granted like certain other companies do.

Please continue to care about your game, and your consumers that much, GGG, because I am SURE it will give you a following like Blizzard used to have, in the long run.

I don't care if people see this as a fanboy post- because the truth of the matter is- that other company showed total disregard for its customers, and as far as I've seen lately, GGG is trying to do the complete opposite. Thank you, guys.

Oh I guess then you expected Blizz to give you your money back for not only the expansion but the game as well. Then from there on they would give everyone their money back. Where they would be the only non profit game developing company huh. Look there is only so much that a game developing company can do. They are not gods after all, they are not perfect.

Also each game developing company is different and it should be different. Because if there is nothing that is different from one gaming company to the other other than it's products. Then there is nothing that really identifies them as different.

Case in point take fast food in the real world. Hardee's has freshly made biscuits from scratch. That is what sets them apart from the rest. The same is true for game companies. Do not expect all game companies to act the same. Why even their games are no doubt coded differently. Unless we are game developers that have worked on games like this one and D3 there is no way that we can say what is and what is not easy for anyone to do.

Further communication is a two way street and takes both sides to keep open and maintain a healthy communication. If I were a CM I would have a hard time posting as a CM on the D3 forums because they are toxic and have had a lot of vile crap on them. There is nothing that a game company can do that will truly justify acting like a butt hole and treating them like less than dirt. Two wrongs never make a right.

Just think in real you have a spouse that continues to verbally abuse you. Would you feel like opening up to your spouse on every issue? Of course not, when the players of Blizz's games can learn how to treat each other and treat Blizz properly the lines of communication will be muddied and will not be as open as they could be.

Why didn't GGG fix desync the second after it was reported. That is what will happen in time. When players start expecting companies to be able to fix every bug or issue as soon as it is reported. Then the expectations will get even higher to where it is impossible. To the point where they would expect them to fix it even before anyone knows of the issue or the bug.

As far as bugs goes not all of them are identical and the same is true for all games. More so when you consider that each game is coded differently. Some have more intense graphics than others.

Any company that can continually fix bugs as quick as they arise. Like one day after a big patch the next patch fixes half of the bugs. That does get me thinking that the company knew it released a buggy patch that it would fix a day later. Why didn't they just wait a day or two and release one with less bugs than they did. I forgot the name of the game but there was a game that one day after release there was a patch to fix a lot of problems with the game. Sure it made them look good to players but that also could be indicative of them knowing that they released a buggy product that they could've waited one more day to release and release it with less bugs.
