The chaos to exalt ratio is the only thing i hate about the 4 month leagues. Feels like you have to do double farming for the same result. Soon it will be 40 or maybe even 50 chaos to 1 exalt. Than 1 month before merge with standard and they drop to like 22-25c again.

I must have run Mervail a billion times to accrue 1,000 alts to trade for 50 chaos. No way am I going to trade 50 chaos for 1 exalt just so I can trade that exalt for a build-enabling unique.

The two reasons to trade currency are to a) get something you need and can't get or b) make it easier to get something. If you have to farm twice or more as much to get enough currency, the latter reason doesn't make any sense.

You might as well farm to get what you want and just leave the rares where they lay.

Then farm and keep it safe in your chest until the prices of exalt go down, people crave them because People want pure ex or nothing half the time, if anything offer overpay OR wait for a few months until the fresh league prices settle down? because its most likely going up as with all 4months. wait month or 2 and then sell all you collected and youl be setup to buy extremely rare items. also theirs always the fact that if someone NEEDS shitload of alts they will pay more same with exalts. sometimes alts get super popular, and with strongboxes im sure not everyone has that many chaos to roll them and will use some alts.

I go for "8 additional items" on Arcanists and "increased quality" or "increased experience" on Gemcutters. Increased rarity doesn't increase the tier of currency.

Side note for others: don't sell alts 20:1 chaos unless fusings are 2.5:1 chaos in your league. Ever.

new "ecconomy" is just an illusion... new league always get dominated by the same ppl/guilds/rmters.

so ppl are better of playing @ standard anyway

the majority of player is blind about this and they want to stay blind...

I haven't even been playing but I can imagine there's a lot more demand for Chaos due to people rolling strongboxes.
