Ambush: Why is the Chaos:Ex ratio so crazy right now?
" no but such actions are an example of moronic business practices and if they are stupid or ignorant enough to fall for it in a game like poe I would probably bet money that they then are also foolish enough to fall for it in real life. especially when poe makes it so damn obvious . lol 2 fusing = 1 chaos yet 20 alt also = 1 chaos ? um convert to fusing problem = solved Last edited by Saltychipmunk#1430 on Mar 19, 2014, 3:59:45 PM

" are there really still people dumb enough to do 2:1 fuse? 2.5 has been pretty standard in leagues afaik, with occasional morons trying for 2:1 or 3:1...(lol) |

" that is because people allowed 2.5 to become standard , for a very long time it was a 2:1 ratio for over 2 years it was that. then the flippers came and the lotteries that have dramatically devalued fusing orbs started to happen. and the devauling of the alts happened. it started small , but the current price of fusing and your rather hilarious acceptance of it as norm is proof of how sad the situation is. " I agree. The breakdown occurs in the chaos -> exalt conversion. Without an equivalent recipe, players have to option but to pay inflated market rates if they want the exalts the same flippers are demanding for items. Personally: give me the ability to convert currency to chaos, regals, exalts and eternals. I will happily work on crafting my own high end items, bypassing the market entirely. " If I convert alts to fusing, I'll end up using them. 20:1 is better than 0:0. But what I won't do is trade alts at 20:1 and then buy fusing. ;) |
