I think that is why the real Diablo developers left... Blizzard got to big and arrogant for their own britches... and now none of the people working on a game of theirs can ask to change anything... the lead dev team seems to be a bunch of @$$#(e$...

" THAT is actually the reason. Blizzard North co-founder and a few other people disagreed with Blizzard's monthly fee charges and box prices, so they said f' them. They created Flagship studios... which unfortunately failed.. big time. Now they're part of 2 smaller teams: Runic Games (Torchlight series) and Red 5 Studios (FireFall is looking good!). However... at the same time,The9 (Chinese developer) has acquired a large portion of Red 5 Studio.... hence why FireFall is looking a bit Asianish... we'll see if it'll work out well. " I bought Hellgate on day one, and while I was dissapointed, as it was hardly any different from the beta, it was a good game and playing the free version now, I enjoy it more than many other ARPG's. Its too bad, I think Flagship just bit off more than they could chew, as HG was quite an ambitious title I think. Torchlight is great though, and I hope Torchlight II is good, not too mention games like Grim Dawn, Guild Wars 2, and a certain Path of Exile coming ;). I think DIII will be great, but after today I am a bit skeptical, and its good to know that there are other games to fall back on. Guild Wars 2 looks amazing, and as for the others, I am just wondering which will take the crown for me. I am honestly leaning towards Path of Exile, but we will see. |

" I also bought hellgate day one. While i can't say i didnt have fun playing it with my friends, it had a lot of problems. I was more saddened over the loss of Mythos, which was just amazing. Also, I see you are an OLP fan. |

Oh, Hellgate. How amazing you could have been. A game rushed out of development that tried too many things at once.
Our only hope is PoE as Blizzard has crapped all over D3. Then again me and my buddy have been stoked about PoE since we first saw it and its brutal non cartoony art style. =D Umm...yeah.

With the terrible news about Diablo III and Torchlight getting boring, this IS my new Diablo. |

I've been sitting at my computer for just over a year... Please let me into the beta (not really I have a job and family, I don't care for MMOs in general). I want to participate in the beta.
