D3 and PoE

So, i just watched a video made by HuskyStarcraft, he played D3, and the skills all similar to PoE, dungeons, corpes on the ground, etc.
So basically im looking at the graphics, its not that impressive :\, and the lack of "umph" D3 really doesnt top PoE. I like PoE because -you can get skills that a better than other skills (quality) -better graphics -more people in beta -similar to D3 PoE can improve on -adding in character sound files -a final top notch class ** -less instances, portal wise, and just free flow the map PoE +1 Very good so far, i check beta manifesto, its seems like GGG knows what they are doing, and this game is gonna make D3 run for its money Oh! did i mention this game is free ? Don't forget they actually have more content released in their beta than Diablo 3!

The thing is that more people know more about D3 than they do know about PoE. Think of all those D2 players coupled with WoW's players hearing about this game.
In order to get D3 "run for it's money", it's going to need a lot more people ofc. Which releasing this game on Steam may help tremendously, not sure about the dev's opinions on it. " True, but they haven't even released the runestone mechanic. And regardless of their decisions, the fact remains that PoE has more content available in beta. |

Except Diablo 3 will cost money - likely a large amount of money. I'm personally not a fan of Diablo 2, it just didn't mesh with me. PoE looks better, and with a LOT fewer available resources. (Small company in NZ vs. Blizzard Entertainment... and the small company made a better game)

" D3 will probably have a one time purchase and let you choose to pay for things on the auction house or use in-game currency, whilst letting you make real life money. Secondly D2 had health and mana, those were the only two resources. D3 is different but you haven't even played it to comment on the resource difference. Thirdly, biased opinion with no facts. Blizzard is a dying company to anyone who knows what they were once capable of...
Diablo 3 is gonna be a piece of trash given the fact it is just WoW with an action Rpg play style... So long as PoE stays away from all the nonsense that made WoW lame as hell they will be my pick for sure Default ladder: Zosia
