This is the biggest slap to the face yet.

It's pretty obvious that the 3 OP items mentioned only drop from uber atziri, which no one has even reached yet. They will probably be worth 150ex for the first few ones but the price will go down, unlike legacy items which keep getting more valuable and are an actual problem in my eyes. I still think atziri fragments should all have the same drop chance but be bound on account, similar to the way ubers and the hellfire ring worked in d3.

1.1.1.1: New keystone added to shadow area that makes all leech on crits instant but lowers your crit multi or whatever. Mana leech rate changed to 20% of max like life leech. A bunch of life leech passives scattered throughout the tree for different elements and whatever. Everyone stops giving a shit about the gloves no one has that drop from the hardest enemy in the game that no one has yet fought.

I'm not defending these uniques, but I do think that any of this talk about give and take is pointless. GGG didn't change leech because of the gloves, the gloves exist because of the leech change. They knew what a huge "I WANT THAT!" they would be.

I don't like all this raid boss business, I don't like how these uniques are simply the best, but I don't think they're gonna stay the best either. Either through additions to the passive tree or through an addition of a new item and mod tier to make those uniques not the craziest thing ever.

Why? If the gloves had never been created you weren't going to get them then just like now. What's the difference? There isn't any.

The funny thing is, this is exactly what the community at large has been screaming for... They just don't know it.

TOO MUCH RNG: a pretty common sentiment around here, wouldn't you say? Fair enough, but how do you solve that? Make items that you have to "earn" by farming a specific area.

I'm on the fence as to whether or not I like that concept. Potentially good things can come of this, potentially bad. Chances are, though, that the bad outcomes will affect almost no one who posts here.

Um that's actually the most logical conclusion by a mile. GGG never balances passives around uniques. These uniques seem like they were made to be owned by very very few. They're so difficult to get that they have become like raid rewards that almost no one will get in new leagues.
This is EXACTLY what everyone has been screaming for!!!!!! Take away what we already have and put it in a unique that 99% will never see........

Blinded.
The 2h is not op at all, it has great min dmg tho but Rare Vaal Axe can get 600+ top dmg and more speed.

Mask is fine too, high end but not op.

Only the gloves seems too good, vaal pack on crit without drawback is very good but I guess it's there to counter Reflect.
