just encountered her in a 98% additional cold damage zone. Seems she actually hit slightly LESS hard with her thornstorm. Wierd eh?

Umm has she been nerfed in recent patch? Because I just ran into her for first time in Cruel and found her very easy with my marauder melee.
Admittedly I'm in Ambush league, but anyone who has read my recent other post "What am I doing wrong in corrupted zones" will know that I've found CZ bosses anything but easy. |

Ch'Aska is like voidbearers, titty bitches, chaos snake packs.
If you dont have the right defenses, you will weep. For example, a typical 9k CI character with no investment in block and armor will be 'omg nerf this BS boss, she 1 shot me' ... when she really does a lot of hits in a short amount of time for ~500 physical dmg avg each. If you have decent armor and / or block, she is ezmode. A tank marauder will find it easy, or even boring, to fight Chaska. So she doesnt need a nerf, imho. " Thats a bad example here, have that type of character with 7K ES and she eats the boss for breakfast. Though, she also has some block, arctic armor, reliable leech, immortal call with CwDT, unwavering stance and a fast lightning warp. Zero trouble. Had been running the library corrupted area for fragments and gems ever since the patch. |

" yeah but some chars will have difficulty with her, as we all know. Like hp bow, they just stand and shoot (baddies) and then cry 'chaska OP, nerf blx' .... uhh you are ranged with no block and low armor (evasion doesnt work), learn to kite / stutterstep shoot? |

Ranged just offscreen her, not even need to kite.

Bow users do not have their own mobility skill btw. Often using lightning warp but not leveling it since it costs quite some mana. So it ends up being slowish. Then if the character also has no anti-stun from US or chayula it might be troubling to just get out of the way.

" Dont need mobile skill to kite / stutterstep attack / play ranged well. Look at the guy who took down atziri's guardians with ek, excellent player as ranged. Of course, move speed and a few qs charges help a lot. |
