Is anyone actually using Vaal Gems?

I love a Vaal Cold Snap linked to a CoDT. The frost poop on the ground has a chilling effect regardless of damage, so you can leave it at whatever lvl your codt can handle, with no real drawback. When clearing maps at a decent pace it procs maybe every 30-60 seconds, depending on the amount of incoming damage more than souls tbh. Linking it to a CoDT also means it doesn't need to take up a slot on your bars.

vaal ice nova for strongboxes. vaal spark for bosses and exiles.

Vaal Skeletons and Vaal Spark are great on my magic finder. They are charged by the time I get to the boss, and really help mow them down quickly.

The ones that work in a spiral like Vall Fireball are completely useless.

If you are 2h melee then vaal ST+ GMP(/lmp)+ WED(/APD)+ ACD, that shitstorm is awesome aoe for open areas, and recharges really fast with multiple uses.

Vaal storm call is great.... For tricking your party in to thinking a rare monster is a storm herald.

Vaal Summon skeletons is a very nice supplement for a summoner. I like frost nova best, though. Clears a pack almost instantly.

As long as your character is somewhat tanky and can deal melee damage OR has RF this skill will boost your clear speeds by a lot.

my friend is using it when we farm Dom to wipe out the minions at the start.

kudos to GGG to that gem.

it's effective and hilarious.

They seem to me to be the ultimate Cast on Damage taken spells.
