Why are legacy items here and why the game isn't unbalanced because of that
" " " " " " " lol. @Xavderion Honestly I doubt that people would go for standard just because some legacy items are available. People that prefer standard, play it probably because they don't want their game progression reset. 4 Month leagues is for people that enjoy ladders,a fresh economy and/or the newest gimmick (lkike shrines) they put it. |

" I agree, I'm sure they would have changed all legacy items if that was possible without major downtimes. My opinion about legacy items: I don't care. I only play standard between leagues though, so my opinion on that doesn't matter. |

You know the thing is I don't feel very strongly either way. I don't play PvP, heck I don't even do public parties. The thing is that I just don't really agree with the decision they made, as I think introducing a standard-only recipe to upgrade into the legacy version would be a better solution.
Your post just kinda crossed me the wrong way as I felt a lot of your arguments were based on speculation. Btw I don't disagree that the topic should get dropped because most people have moved on but I do think for a lot of people it is/was an issue and I feel like there is a better solution. |

" I would really prefer another permanent league however. I don't have the time to keep resetting with the four month leagues. The game requires too much investment to get anywhere, so I'm probably going to have to submit to Standard because it's the only permanent league. I really wish if they want to go this 'legacy' route, there could be another permanent league without it all. |

" Whachoo talkin'. If they want to nerf and change everything, fine. Give me a permanent league where those changes are in effect for everyone. I've left a lot of games because a lot of companies just don't understand that players want a level playing field. Most recent was DCUO and it's PvP. They just wouldn't properly balance PvP and the game is now a sinking ship. Had a lifetime membership there, been watching it sinking the whole time. Legacy items are a feature of Standard. Says so right in today's announcement. They like them.
If you don't... you have options. Play HC, Play leagues. Play races. Or get over it. |
