There is no point in discussing 'How something that will NOT be done should be made'.
Also judging by the aggressive tone of the OP, it is quite clear that he is an anti-SFL. Anti-SFL has nothing to fear GGG clearly stated that they intend to keep this trade simulation as it is. For SFL demanders, there is no point in discussing neither. Because GGG clearly stated that you are not their target market, and they wont meet your expectations with the game. RoS is directly what you want, and so will be Grim Dawn so you are not out of options neither. In the future either GGG will bend on their word and open a SFL league with adjusted drops that will satisfy SFL players, or they wont. But their decision wont be based on forum flame wars. It will be based on how much of their place will keep here after March major update. By that time either their update will be good enough to combat RoS for SFL players, or not. So just chill out and do what I do. Give a break to PoE for now and let GGG to work on whatever they are working on. We will see in march whether what they chose to work on was on target or not. |

"this wouldn't work unless they massively revamped crafting or added smart loot. Right now alternate characters and trading is the only way to get rid of expensive but "useless" loot If you dont have trading or sharing with your other characters, what would be mkre depressing than finding a lioneyes on a summoner? |

" No........ Ofc you could play sf , as I have done since 2011..... I dont give a crap about adjusted droprates for a sf league , I settle for a sfladder , some longterm races(solo/hc) 3-xxxx weeks. I play arpg´s for the great feeling when the xxx item drops..not for trading,duping,cheating my way to the "top" Well , I still love the game (still playing , but less and less nowdays) But..GGG claim/wants poe to be HC..well lets do it.. HC=NOT beeing carried to top lv in parties,trading,rmt and multiboxing...GGG you have to be kidding... Rgds , L **Better to burnout , than to fade away**

Self found league is dead.
It would splinter the community. And by splinter... everyone will play it, which will leave GGG staff playing cut throat market flippers in a ghost town. I can think of two ARPG games that are self found games. One made by the diablo creator, the other is going SF come their expansion.
