Lunaris temple a bit overkill on the blood? (spoiler)

Do humans in the PoE world breed like rabbits or something? Wraeclast is supposed to be the ass end of nowhere where exiled criminals are sent, yet it has things like a bandit leader who's able to maintain a large standing corps of bandits who's main job is to run up to the enemy and EXPLODE (act two with the Martyrs). How does that bandit witch get so many of those guys in the first place? You'd think she'd have run out of men after the first month. Bear in mind that the three bandit leaders were exiled to Wraeclast within Dominus' lifetime, so they couldn't have been there THAT long enough to build up a sizeable third world population, unless they took over what basically amounts to an entire country of suicide bombers that was already there, which still brings to question why there were so many of the guys there while the Act 2 town has like, 4 people.
Lunaris Level 3 is just another example of fridge logic regarding this. I guess that's the problem when dealing with a game verse where the main villains are humans instead of daemons. THe logistics just make no friggin' sense. If Wraeclast is the land of exiles, where the hell did Piety get THAT many corpses? How is there THAT much blood? A game featuring daemons (or even just animals, who actually can breed like rabbits) can pretend to be unrealistic by saying "They're daemons! Reality has no place here!" but Wraeclast is specifically about human villains and yet somehow this place that's just supposed to be a land of exiles has more humans than animals in the wilds and enough corpses to fill a friggin'... whatever you'd call Lunaris 3 (whatever it is, it's HUGE). How did they get those wagons up and down the stairs, anyways? It contrasts badly with the villages too. You entre Lions Gate and there's like, 10 people there. Then you go outside to fight the scavengers and hobos and there's like, hundreds (and you butcher them all). Sure, you could say they're insane which is why they're stupid enough to attack you, but when you get to the more sane (probably) bandits, you're still butchering them by the bucketload and none of them ever stop to consider that you're some sort of crazy one-man army. Probably they don't care because they either somehow magically have reserves of men to throw at you despite Wraeclast being at the ass end of no where, or they breed like rabbits and know it. Then again, according to the map, Theopolis is like, one puny little island while Wraeclast is an entire continent. It's a bit odd that you have a country where exiles sent to the exiled land probably make up 90% of your population (and your main judge Dominus lives on the exile continent instead of the main country). ....I usually just try to ignore it all but really, the suspension of reality just breaks down when you think about it. It's really best not to think about it too much. I like Lunaris 3 but yea, it really breaks down when you think about it. Last edited by TiamatRoar#4443 on Jul 14, 2013, 3:24:41 PM
