Flay' Flicker Finder - 800,054 DPS, 50/390MF, fast clear speeds. [New pics in MF gear/FAQs]

Yes, a guide about this would be great, but I actually wanted to make this character to get currency and farm... Because atm I have like currency worth max 3ex.

Btw, does flicker strike desync often? Like cyclone?
@adraeus
I am confused by your statement that single target combat is tedious. I find it to the exact opposite. I don't have to click anywhere near a mob and I auto target and repeat flicker until I let go of the button.

Do you have multistrike in your flicker links? If so could you explain more what you mean?

Are you carrying frenzy charges? If you have no frenzies you can only flicker once a second because flicker has a cool down that can only be bypassed by spending a frenzy charge.

@korzasa
Yes flicker can cause desync. I have never used cyclone so I don't know how to compare the two.

However, I have decided that the desync caused by flicker is often related to the length of time we constantly flicker without a pause so I recommend regular sts in flickering to use LS which doesn't have the same issues.

I also recommend as high dps as possible because if you kill a pack in one or two hits you get to stop flickering and never reach whatever level of repeated action overload that results in desync. If it takes you 20 flickers to kill something then you are more likely to desync.

Finally I have noticed that rubberbanding or desync occurs when I flicker over long distances and across obstacles. Sometimes I flicker across things like closed doors in a jail and I get rejected by the server and am placed back outside the doors a second or two later. So I always open all doors and when inside a room I flicker to kill stuff and then enter the next room if dangerous by opening the door instead of warping. This problem is mostly an indoors problem. This is why I like outdoors maps that are open better than indoors maps.

I think that's the problem! What do you do when you're facing a single mob without any frenzy charges and no packs in sight?
Flicker once then LS the mob dead if that didn't work. Then rush as fast as possible to the next mob to keep the frenzy. That is why I use quicksilver.

I know you thought about trying it before, but I can really recommend whirling blades for movement as well. With BR and frenzy charges up it's very fast traveling. :)
man i couldnt keep myself to mirror
