How did you gear for the 74 point spec with CI (i.e., without Shav's)?

This build seems promesing for solo maps runs. How do u feel the mf is turning out? going good. Are u able to sustain your map pool. If we look at 74-75 maps any map u avoid or anyone that is esp easy ?

I just used this kind of stuff with an archon kite shield of 220 es and some resists. I actually used the above newb chest for a long time until I got the one below

I got lucky and got a Shavs to drop for me. But I then saved up and bought the 6l. It can be done.

The MF is working out amazingly well. I have never had the kind of currency I do now. My store is inmy signature. Have a look. It's doing well. I mostly solo maps but I also help my friends map in groups of every size. I can now flicker in all maps.

My map pool (74+) is mostly sustaining itself. When it gets low I run my 72 and 73s and get high value drops there as well although the xp from 73 or lower stinks.


Solo is by far the fastest way to make currency. With 49/350 even when I don't get a map upgrade I find so much decent stuff so fast even in 72+ maps that I have enough currency to buy all the maps I can run. The only limiting factor is my busy life and time. I find about 10 chaos value per map I run. It takes me about 5 minutes to run a map. I can do the trash on every map no problem. I avoid reflects, -max resists and blood magic. I can do but hate temp chains.

I avoid the doing the bosses vaal, dominus and megaera while I am leveling. I have killed every boss in the game without dying on the map but the risk isn't worth it. After I hit 90 I will focus on the final challenges. I think I will have enough currency to finish all 8 challenges in the league. I am close to finishing 7 now. Just need to level 3 more chars and I should have 7 done. Then I grind for money on crazy hard maps and die some but hope for amazingh drops.

I don't like this bosses because mistakes lead to a death, and a death means much wasted time.

I love to do maps like the canyon and gorge which are open maps. It's basically a race from pack to pack. There is little worry about flickering because if the pack I land in is too big, I can always back out of it because of the free space around the packs.

Closed dark maps are a little less fun but totally doable. I just can't hold down flicker constantly and be ok. If I do I might end up in a tight enclosed space surrounded by baddies and not be able to get out or flicker because my mama is running lower. Then I just pop my pots and LS rapidly and the packs freeze and die but it is more stressful.

Hey I´ve got one question, is this build viable even when I dont have the Money to afford the 3 Uniques? Im relatively poor and my highest character is a level 70 Blender

A CI flicker build is totally viable with no unique gear.

I played one until 85 in standard. You can semi cheaply do all maps. You will have a little lower dps and be more defensive. The problem is you can't easily get MF. I wanted flicker and MF so made this alteration to the build.

I will post more in my guide about how to play CI flicker until you get a Shavs. If you must have more info now go to the link in the top of my guide and look at the other flicker guide for now. Poutsos guide is great but he has stopped playing so he doesn't answer questions anymore.

Looks like ES and links are most important. Thanks! Now I can find a replacement for my Tabula.

And, yeah, totally doable. I can sell all of the stuff I farmed from Docks with my 190%/90% IIR/IIQ marauder (BOR/IB) to get halfway there in Exa. I just got my shadow to L45 last night and, wow, flicker/blood rage is a lot of fun, so I think I can farm the rest of the way once I get to Merc.

With this build at lower levels, I think single-target combat is quite tedious though. Flicker doesn't always lock onto a mob, so you have to click around a bit until the mob is dead.
