PoE wins d3

People saying it's not 100% more content, maybe not 100% but it's a lot. New character, extra character slot, adventure mode and more. If you just want to look at 1 act plus 1 character as the expansion, that's your shortfall. Because if ROS is successful, I doubt any of you bashers will come to the forums and acknowledge it. Keep living in the past

I will never see a reason to go back to D3. PoE is soo far ahed that Blizzard cant even see them from where they stand.

My wife and I gave D3 a second chance and purchased the PS3 version a while back.

We installed the game,made a character,started a campaign,bumped the right stick,watched as my character performed circus tricks,giggled to ourselves and uninstalled.

The disc now decorates our fruit trees scaring fruit bats away. =P

Lol did you even play it? Combat is so much better in d3 not too mention groupplay makes actual sense there. And instead of using one skill like in poe you actually never seem to have enough skills in d3. Keep on bashing fanboy...

I didn't realize they announced them. The deluxe edition also comes with an ingame pet, 3 transmog helms, transmog weapons, in addition to the 3 character slots. Plus some fluff for WoW and SC. Your $20/3 character slots is omitting quite a bit.

Back in the day when you achieved a certain goal you unlocked something, now you achieve a goal you get a shitty "achievement" and what you possibly would have unlocked you have to buy as a DLC. Gaming as an industry is a ripoff, thank heavens for a company like GGG..

As for the 2 pets for other games, they are obviously up selling the other games..

Everything except the Act 5 and the Crusader class will be available without buying the Expansion. So the statement that it's 40$ for 1 Act and 1 Class seems pretty accurate.

Yup,was a time when games even shipped with manuals that put modern day strategy guides to shame.


You really did get what you paid for back then.Modern tech is partly to blame,need statistics about game mechanics,use internet,need some background lore,use internet,want some serious game art,use internet.


$100 in Australia for a AAA release ...aaaand ....you get a disk and 10 page manual that is mostly epilepsy warnings..... lol

Although,if you're willing to shell out another $60,you may get what in times past was the usual standard deal.
