Path of life nodes

You know it still pisses me off that this is path of the life nodes still simply because health is that amazing.

Wrong? You haven't even made a point. Of course health is important. Duh.
In most games DMG > ALL.
In this game LIFE > ALL.

But PoE is new so they will improve it in future I am sure. :)
(or I just hope)
It does make you wonder what the game would be like if life either wasn't on the tree at all or much much less.
Standard Forever
Personally they should just a flat out reduce the damage like in D2 things can still fucking kill you but not outright like OBLITERATE you in a mere second =/

But I guess someone's going to be like l2p brah meh

It's just frustrating from time to time I mean on my 91 I have a L. Kaoms so that's not a problem since she has like 9999999999999999999999 billion health on my main pfft just pray my infinite granite flask can take the god dam hit.

Depends on league and goal. A mf char running Piety in standard league would prefer higher clearspeed at the risk of dying occasionally as opposed to having super high life and never die.
Disregard witches, aquire currency.
d3 in reaper of souls is doing something with DMG>ALL

they remove life steal. and as such finally disjoint DPS and SURVIVABILITY

these two being connected with life leech was something that dumbed down arpgs for years..
