Default league price madness

Attempting to start from scratch in standard is a huge uphill battle. Sorry OP, but that's the reality of a mature economy.

It's sadly too late for Dom/Nem, but the best way to build wealth in standard is to get in on the ground floor of a new 4month league, play your ass off, and then illegally transfer the wealth to standard via JSP. Or better yet...just stick with the new league and have fun there, and don't break any rules :p

I personally dont know anyone who has started playing standard after dying on nemesis/hc whatnot.
The feature does seem like a good idea to encourage players to play hc, not sure if its necessary any longer.
Also inflates the Standard market more.

You play from scratch while people that use a website that rhymes with b2gaysp and RMT'ers rocket past real players who actually enjoy them game. If you have a life and a job or family you actually care about you will never see the top of the ladder anyways so why be a masochist and play on a league? Nemesis league? enjoy your small handful of builds that are actually viable end game.

Don't bash standard players. We all play the same game some of us don't have the time to start over and over and over and over.

The prices are really bad for the most coveted items but 1000 times better for other items that help you get to the point where you can get those FUBAR priced items.

The main issue really is...this games trade system combined with terrible...terrible RING and a crafting system that makes knitting look fun are the real problems. They need to get off their high horse and make something that works for all players.... not just the hardcore no lifers...

I will give u a tip sir, u aint never gonna farm currency worth for ur nerfed kaoms in maps. If nobody has told u ill be the first, the place u wanna farm is trade chat. Buying selling etc thats how u make currency not playing meeps imo.

Sir derbefrier seems to be a very rude person and should not represent the ppl who play on standard. I love poe, i love standard. Ive made alot here and i was a d2 hardcore ladder player. Honestly i got bored of hc and i enjoy myself more on standard thats why i choose to play standard. But yes alot of people are being rude etc and often those people are very bad to the core. Most people think of them when they hear the word standard on poe but i assure u its not like that. There are still good people in standard. Have a nice day sir and relax abit eh? Cheers.

prices seem harsh but they are mostly justified
found the new shitty shitunique chest , traded for a bor sold that bor for 8ex and some scraps because im generous.

traded my fuses for 4 exalts 35:1 ratio

all of a days "work" and i had lots of fun while doing so.
because i set myself a goal and that goal was to farm up some exalts via tradeing / exchanging currency of my own.

people usually whine when A. they dont understand prices
B. they are too lazy to farm and read up on exchange ratios to get their exalts (lot of people do this you dont have to eat dirt in PoE your whole gaming life)

Do bossruns i cant stress this enough , you people need to GRIND piety and DOMINUS not maps for items , dont expect much out of em here and there you get something but the best time-reward investment are PIETY AND DOMINUS.

One death oath in one run , several stacks of fusings from vendored items , a handful of useable rares , some lowlvl uniques like really why even care about the prices if you can get everything on your own ?

Pls complain about fusing 5-6linking that is a valid concern , what other players have and do with their time is none of your concern nor should it infuence the pleasure you are deriving from the game.

There is no competition in this game besides the illusion you set yourself into.

Relax and play the game , the default league prices will stay prolly how they are or even rise higher so what.

If you traded at some point for awesome rares and uniques well fuck you then stop whining and trade some more or git gud ?
