Like the map thou I would deem the Chaos Damage debuff not necessary. The IIR effect would maybe need a rebalance to be on par with other unique maps but I love the lightning radius mod.

I think doing the Capra Demon's Sword, or the "Demon's Great Machette", would be cool. It would have to be extremely slow attack speed though. We don't have a weapon like that here. Very slow 2H sword with very high base physical damage. It would need to be like 0.85 APS.
Forgive my saying of "need" lol, I simply mean what I personally might do. Anyway, since that was what the sword was like in Dark Souls. Extremely slow, but the hardest hitting sword in the entire game. Or, what I always liked would be based on the Hiltless from Demon's Souls. The most powerful katana in the game, but one that caused bleed damage to the user (in PoE it could just be, well, easy it could be bleed damage lol). But enough of my ideas. The map sounds very cool actually, and I think the chaos damage is fine (although it may be hard for some builds, yeah). The IIR would be fine IMO too, considering that you still won't get shit with 300% anyway lol (again just my opinion). As far as the ring goes, it's a cool idea, like the cursed ring or whatever it was called in Dark Souls. But, because of HC, and because item acquisition is a bit different in PoE, it probably wouldn't work as well here. I really wish there was a sword that turned you into a Capra Demon for a few seconds though, how sick would that be lol? Cool idea, either way. (in reference to the old version). No copy pastando give demon sword englando Corrected my incorrect name of the Capra demon sword, my nerdiness failed me... but only for a couple minutes. " Sure. Soul conduit is a pain (sometimes it's very bad), but they can only revive things and themselves once, plus you can try to lure enemies away from eachother. But yeah I think that would be really cool personally. It is certainly doable, unless they are like ultra strong, then it may be tough. Current IGN: TheBearerOfLight

That map would be fun! The 2 others...no
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.
Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :( Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt. |

soul conduit is easily countered by luring the mob away from corpses, it's AOE of effect is very small tbh. I don't see why it should not be on the bosses, it will have 0 effect anyway if you position correctly, and will be punishing when disregarded.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

The first thing I thought when I saw your Uniques was that they were just way too over complicated. Way too many mods, which, when combined, still don't really shout 'unique'.
I think this is a common problem with Unique designs. Many people will simply view Unique to mean 'better than' rather than simply 'Unique'. My idea of Uniques would be something like: Tramps Boots: 1% Increased item rarety 1% Increased item quantity -15% movement speed 50% Cold resistance It easily relates to the item name and just crazily boosts one stat (without it being game breaking) while pinching from another and adding some 'flavour' with the other mods. For many people this would become a 'must have' for taking on Hailrake and possibly Merveil, but not serve much other use. Similarly, uniques can offer completely new unique mods, for example: Everything or Nothing (witch's chestplate): +200 to all attributes +2000 Life +5000 Armour and Energy shield and Dexterity 200% All elemental resistances 200% Chaos resistance Cannot be stunned, bled, shocked, reflected, frozen, chilled, burned 1% chance per hit you receive you will be turned into a helpless 1 life frog Can only be used in Hardcore types of leagues But you know what I mean. I think Unique items should be just that. Items from completely left-field which add both character and charm to the game. I really don't think they should just be a laundry list of mild variants to existing mods and/or curly-whurly mod interactions that take a maths professor to work out how to best optimise the mods with the correct fusion of other game inputs. If I found one of your items in the game, I'd just go "Urrrghhh, I'm not figuring all that crap out" and try to find someone to sell it to. |

" Charan is correct. It is not as simple as you make it sound. It is not just a matter of money, it is a matter of balancing all of them based on the game. BTW, good luck with your items, Charan. I am really looking forward to what comes out of it ;). |
