Yeah It's pretty much an LG in a sword form vaal pact's not going to work there thanks to nightmare's post :P

I just want another drawback into it because 100% hit is VERY powerful lol

The ring will never happen. Ever.

For the sword, I'd do the following:
* Your Attacks are always Critical Strikes
* Your Attacks Reflect 15% Physical and Elemental Damage
* (no "can't be evaded" mod, no life degen mod)

Reflect seems harsh :O I want it to be another LG but with another drawback with the ability to crit.

How about "Your Attacks are Lucky"? It isn't quite RT, but it lets you roll to Hit [and Crit], twice. And for a drawback, you could have "Enemy Attacks against you are Lucky."

Hmm Charan and co what you should do is bulk design with supporters and GGG. They just started with triggers and though it is not an option now, in the future GGG wouldn't mind having item/ uniques triggering a spell.

Mjölnir (1 handed mace):
20% Chance to cast arc on hit.

Mjölnir would be how it starts, but than there would be no limit to combine in existing content and create fun new stuff:

Rats nest (1 handed dagger):
15% chance to summon sewer rats to fight along side you
rats deal 50-100 poison degen for 3 sec, stack up to 3 times
rats got 100 hp, but have 80% spell and attack dodge

Greedy pockets (gloves):
10% chance to cast a greedy weezle on hit
Weezles stack up to 5 times
10%-15% IIQ per Weezle

With rats and weezle I used a new animal type and an existing (or was it a ferret) pet and turn it into an unique summon. In before witch doctor frog spamm ;)

Stone gaze (helmet):
5% chance to summon a basilisk on hit
Basilisk have x*lvl hp
Basilisk have a 15% chance to transform enemies into stone (this would be just stun)

Voldemorts wand:
5% chance to cast death skull on hit
death skull deals 90% of your dmg and has culling
(death skull would be simply a black or red version of arctic breath)

Enfin so much stuff could be done with existing content if there would be triggers casts on weapons (how would such triggers interact with minion passives or projectile support gems). Mark mentioned on the unique vote thread that they would love to do this in the future. With some unique designers bundling their wishes along these type of trigger uniques (early version being just arc, zombies and other existing skills) it might happen sooner, because it allows GGG to focus resources on developing that element.

As you said yourself unique designers would need to have the patience for GGG to expand the game first though.
