Poll: Monster life number display

But it is insanely cool if you are able to kill a lets say 10000hp mob in like 2 or 3 hits :P

Making it hidden in HC mode is a bit pointless. If people need to know they will just check some site for the hp ranges.

I really don't see the point in having numbers there to tell you how many hit points a mob has. Its health bar is full or it's not. That's all I need to know anyway. Putting the exact number up there just promotes min/maxing when gathering parties and disrupts game play. In a game like this, there should be no numbers shown outside of your character sheet.

Also, from the videos I've seen there are no combat damage numbers coming off, I like to see lots of numbers flying when I fight.

For bosses! No need for trash mobs.

As being able to choose in options is available, I would obviously say that, I know lots of people dont want it at all, some want it for only bosses and some want it for everything, why not just have it in the options and everyone is happy?

Players should be able to enable this in options, although it should be disabled by default. That way people who really wants it could enable it, while rest of us could play without concentrating too much on pure numbers and just enjoying the content instead.

I agree with most of the folks so far, life bar does the trick. No need 4 numbers, at least for me. Would be nice to have it as an option though, avoiding possible third party mods
