All it takes is efficient mob grinding and gathering.
In other games - you get a cookie whether you win or lose. PoE not only takes your fuckin' cookie and eats it in front of you, it slaps you upside the fuckin head a few times for bringing a cookie in the first place.
MF isn't as important as you think, I used to run with voidhome 50iir and I found tebulsa and BOR in like 2 days of each other, after that I raised up my IIr/iiq allot and I barely find any good unique's after weeks of playing with increased iir/iiq, I find slightly better orb drops thats it.

IMO stacking tons of IIR and making your self weak doesn't help as much as having a strong char with a bit of IIR that can go threw mobs easily.

Also played the 1900% iir vaal map 3 times and have never gotten 1 item worth keeping, only low lvl garbage uniques.

If you want to maximize MF, you sacrifice damage and/or survivability.



This is exactly the point. There are more ways than one to play the game. I, for one, like to run my low level maps in MF gear, and my high level maps in "kill stuff fast" gear. I've assembled two sets that don't sacrifice any survivability either way, but I only get like 2/3 of my damage in the MF gear. That lost clear speed is made up for in spades with the drops I get (only 200/30 btw, nothing special).

It's fun if you don't have the "NEED MORE GEAR NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW" mindset all the time, which is pretty stressful to be honest.

I agree MF is by far the most annoying stat in the game
Well since they have removed quantity in the new season

I would think rarity is next on the chopping board and has already been assigned a secret diminishing return ratio

My personal guess is that its basically useless to pack more than 100% and around 50-75% (kinda like resist cap) is good enough to find some extra rare drops on most unique and or even blue packs mobs.

IMO more than 150% is overkill and rarity don't affect currency from what I read....

I agree with the OP

I Rather it be removed entirely in the next Season so that I can focus on utilizing my best equipt at all times and become a better player instead of a part time farmer.

Not for everyone though. People greedier for EXP than magic find still stick to DPS gears

I completely agree with this, and I like having the option to go after the carrot-on-a-stick-with-a-risk/reward system that is MF gear!
MF just represents opportunity cost.

People whine a lot about being forced to make decisions, they simply want to have 1 choice thats the best, and go with that. thinking hurts.
Lets be honest!

the end game is Not so fun as GGG claims it to be. Maps are always the same maps, and party is silly---you dont need to co-operate at all, no such social feelings as you feel in MMORPG such as WOW.

Try different builds? waste of time, cos some builds can only function after lvl65, and you spent most your lvling time doing with other skills. If the build dose not work, you need to waste your time again. cos there is no Treepoist wipe.

We know what GGG want us to do. Invest our time. Thats why there is no Auction House so you need to waste your time to trade, also no wipe so you need tons of regrets orb or waste your time to reroll a new one.

But there is no fun in endgame. thats all concerns about standard league.
