GGG why no flask replenish between domi forms?

well lets put this logically , since you seem to want to play the prick .

dominus has a second stage. twice the effective hp basically. and far more dangerous abilities that need things like said topaz flasks and granites to tank.


this game is about grinding until your mind goes numb from it , and part of grinding is efficiency.

wasting 2 extra portals on a run that already eats up 4 portals in loot is not sustainable.


and when you cant sustain your portals , you have to stop farming.

and if you stop farming , you stop making money

and when you stop making money you dont progress


so yeah those 2 scrolls are a big fucking deal for us peeps who dont have a portal gem .


again i dont exactly know why you are getting so bent out of shape over this. You give me the impression that I some how wronged you on a personal level.

Do you pick up portal scrolls when you see them?

Also, if you can farm dominus and speed is of the essence for you, you can probably afford a portal gem. Just put it on your alt weapon set.

However, I agree that killing Dominus' first form should give a flask refill like merveil does, or other form-changing monsters do.

I am curious what kind of build has an easier time with the first form of Dominus compared to the second. For myself I have to do a bit of dodging for the first, but the second I just face tank with zero flask usage.

Another solution is to get a better build that doesnt rely so heavily on flask charges.

Also, I wasn't aware the game was about grinding efficiently. It seems like you set that goal for yourself, and then you decided to place handicaps all along the way(farm a boss that you can't cleanly kill, don't use a portal gem, etc).

The more I read threads here, the more it seems like people suffer from serious subconscious masochism, and they complain about the pain as they whip themselves.

Just stop.

I can kill domi , i can kill him rather easily , i just have to use pots, try and find an average joe who farms him who doesn't use topazes .

merviel replenishes between forms , why not domi?

that is your own prerogative. not mine. I like the challenging fight domi presents , needing to pop flasks to avoid insta death , kiting explosive minions , stacking resists to nullify his most dangerous stuff.

Its part of the game, not a balance issue. Its literally ONE OF THEIR LOADING TOOLTIPS to use a portal in boss fights.

And you are seriously complaining about using a portal scroll to refill flask charges, of which you are also complaining about? Do you not pick them up or something? Oh wait, you said that's "not sustainable" and that you could no longer farm if you used an extra scroll. Wow... um... yeah I can't even respond to that. My mind is blown. How do you not have extra portal scrolls? They are about as abundant as air, and as worthless as it too. How ON EARTH do you have so many characters yet lack the ability to sustain portal scrolls. You can't be picking them up... you just can't be...
