I think TotalBiscuit said it best in terms of consoles but it applies here.

People hate being wrong and don't want to believe they made a "worse purchase" and will fight for their "player" to the bitter end and make an arse of themselves.

Well then we will have tobes111 for a long time on the POE forum because ROS is exactly like d3. Man poor kid he is going to be bitter forever hehe.

Maybe the 3rd d3 expansion will actually improve the game so tobes111 can be happy

not sure anyone noticed, but the title of thread is RoS < PoE. "<" means less than. Therefor, RoS is less than PoE. With that in mind, this is suppose to be a thread about how PoE is better.

Wake me up when people compare a AAA+ title and company to a FTP title from a indy company.

And the only reason it sold 13mil copies was because of d2. Just looked how many copies they sold on console 500k? Huge success and there expansion will proberly hit same numbers

well D3 isnt even on steam so i dont know how you plan on comparing the player base of the two by saying that... and no one plays public parties, everyone is either in private parties or playing solo. Even on release there were millions pf people playing and there were like 20k public parties

d3 has sold over 14 million copies including console, so there have been at least 1.5 million console sales, probably closer to 2 million now, not 500k.. do you really think a game that sold 14 million copies will only sell half a million copies of its expansion? an expansion that costs 30$ instead of 60$?

all that RoS things seems too basic for me, now that i played PoE for over a year. I will play it but, i doubt it will be a long term experience for me. Unlike PoE.

I just wanna say congratulations to the developers of POE. The fact that people are even comparing POE with a game that came out of a multi-billion dollar company means tha POE is a success.
