Diablo 3 is McDonald's and Path of Exile is this locally owned corner restaurant with the best food you've ever tasted.

pretty much this, and every1 still eats at McDonald's

long term he is right though ... poe is a niche game and always will be with too heavy core issues.

ros on the other hand adressed and fixed most of the core issues d3 had, and _do not forget_ that ros is in beta at least 3-4 more months .. so it will be even more polished once its released ...

Havent been checking D3 and ROS lately but are you saying that they are implementing chance to hit,def like evasion (being better against crit), armor better against small hits weapon but crap against large hits, specific damage spell damage to spell (not only weapon damage rules everything), Cold damage can freeze, fire can burn( so on). If yes, ima try D3/ROS again. If not well still good to have an ubdate for it after such a long time.
No food in fridge... Beer it is.
D3 is not designed for consoles and PC players are not testers for said console game.

The game is just being ported to consoles because they don't have anything original and Blizzard wants to make more money.

The game has updated content on consoles, some of it for better, some for worse.

Blizzard could clearly spend more time working on the PC version but instead decide to split a port to consoles, which are clearly the inferior platform anyway.

My point is that Blizzard has been heading in the wrong direction for awhile IMO, with the only new good game being released as Hearthstone. Heart of the Swarm was decent, and Starcraft is still great, but overall I'm not impressed.

My last point is that I love Path of Exile and the future of this game. Regardless of if you think GGG made some bad decisions on something, the overall feel I get from the developers is that they actually care about the playerbase they have, instead of porting it to consoles that can't utilize even half the game for more $$$.
The fact that someone would say poe>ros right now says enough about how clueless are they.RoS beta just started few days ago and it will last for at least 4-5moths and during that time SO many thing will change, and fact that its blizzard and not GGG they can actually fix stuff unlike GGG's beta that lasted over year and yet the main problem still remains aka desync.

Yeah PoE fanboys way to go thinking clearly isn't your strong side,so stick to your path of life nodes instead of making fool of yourself.

you can clearly hear what he like most and what the problem with ROS is. big surprise the exact same problem as in d3 vanila

"Path of life nodes".

I remember D3 on launch. If you didn't stack vit + resists + rolled a ranged class (Demon Hunter basically) you had no chance in Inferno.

On topic:

PoE is not perfect and D3 is not the anti-christ. D3 is fun. It's a lot more "casual" but why is that bad? There are things about D3 that PoE could take from and improve. D3: RoS still suffers from BiS Legendaries and just plain lack of depth as well as a cartoony feel. PoE suffers from being an indie company where bugs take longer to fix, updates take longer, etc... as well as, in my opinion, a lack of good feeling when it comes to loot especially with the horrendous RNG.

They are now completely different games in my opinion.

RoS will be the same Game on PC and Console.
So it has and WILL HAVE its limitation, because you cannot patch every second month/add content etc. to a console game.

I played D3 for 3 Weeks and will also play ROS on the on PS4!
Its a nice game! Its Hack n Slay, fun to play for 2 Weeks.
I cant play such a game for so long like POE or D2, but ITS FUN for 2 Weeks till i clear it. :)

But again the reason why 99% POE Players are here is because D3 WAS (and will) not be like D2 -> thats why we play and love POE -> thats why "RoS Players" who have big hopes in a worthy D2-Follower-Game will come back to POE :)

there are more people playing D3 right now than PoE, and d3 is completely dead right now.

D3 also sold close to 13 million copies, you can call people fanboys all you want, but PoE is going to lose quite a few players to RoS when it gets released, the only reason most people are playing PoE right now is because they are waiting for the d3 xpac

100% agree

BUT the reason people play POE is because it reminds them of good old D2 PLUS:

- a huge build diversity
- complexity of items/game
- Map System
- Races

D3/ROS has 100000 times more players and will always have more, but it will still play POE because see above :)

Right now, for me PoE is miles ahead of RoS, the reason being that current D3 is basically the same game RoS is. The only thing that changed is itemization with bound items and all that stuff, but I'm not too impressed with that to be honest.
Also, I can very well say that for me personally, PoE is better than RoS. Let me tell you why: Because those two games have nothing in common what so ever. Expect for maybe the camara angle and the fact that you can kill monsters. Other than that, they are competely different games and there is nothing that I find interesting about RoS, while there is tons of stuff that catches my attention in PoE.
You are right that things in RoS might and will change. However, the problem is STILL that the core of the game is uninspired in every possible way. RoS has so far changed nothing about what I didn't like about D3 and I have my doubts it will. If it will, I might give it a shot, though.

Does this make me a fanboy? If so, I'm proud of being a fanboy.
