Is Scion like the main char or something?

i came up with my own background for her. based on some knowledge i have of the actual game.

she was to be wed to Dominus though an arranged marriage. but she found out his evil ways and tried to kill him. she was banished to Wraeclast since the death sentence isnt applied to the Scion way. As an exile, she bands together with other exiled warriors and travel across Wraeclast to end Dominus' hold. During their travel across the plains, she encounters corrupted beings and slays them, only to find they are people from her past. As she slays Dominus, she realizes the truth - She killed her fiance, her family and her friends. The universe that she created protected the truth from her in her last moments as she waited to be put to death. her last words before her death were "Between man and nightmare, that is where I've always stood.

Wouldnt that be one hell of a twist.
And if you close your eyes, does it feel like your exalt almost hit this time~

New lines for Shadow should be a priority, his quirky lines gave me a good laugh. "Did the earth move for you baby? Probably, you hit the ground quite hard."

I really hate the Scion's lines, I used to main a Witch and hearing her lines just made me feel like I'm losing brain cells because...well she just says everything in a childish way (e.g. "You wanted me burned back in Oriath, that wasn't very nice.") but at least it's consistent with her evil child personality. Scion is much much worse, stupid angsty inconsistent blonde bimbo.

A-fucking-men. Shadow's my favorite by a long shot; he starts as a monster, he knows he's a monster, and he's perfectly happy to stay a monster as he stabs the fuck out of cannibals. So instead of bitching about the world around him, he just has a good ol' laugh at whatever happens to end up on the wrong side of his knife.

I like Witch's lines too, but not as much as Shadow's; she very much sounds like someone who's lived their entire life in oppression before finally snapping and just trying to find the most efficient way to continue fucking shit up.

I've not played a Scion, so I can't weigh in on her lines, but thus far my least favorite is Ranger, bitching about "her world" this and "men" that. Decent development as a character, but holy shit is she annoyine.
Lore wise it feels like she's some kind of avatar.

I get the impression she's like the key for some Lovecraftan deity(ies?) to invade their world, question is, once she discovers the truth, will she bend over or fight against it?
the answer, in PoE2.

Just so you guys can try to understand what I mean, think of the movie "In the mouth of Madness".
