I'm guessing you've never actually worked on anything to do with 3d models, have you? Create a 3D black bar, tell it to hang in front of certain locations on existing models. Since many of the nude mobs in game are simply resized/retextured versions of the same base models, this is a pretty simple task.

It's 5, maybe 10 minutes of work. Please refrain from comments like that unless you actually know what the work entails, doing otherwise just clutters the thread up with useless posts and spreads FUD.

I don't see this having anything to do with prejudices. The fact of the matter is, some people play games in a situation where a child could walk in at any moment. While violence, and why it's bad, is easy to explain to children, Sexuality is not so Boolean. Until kids are old enough to understand these subtleties, it's much easier to censor nudity in their presence.

Nudity and sex can be related, but so can nudity and art, or nudity and having a shower.
I doubt most children would have much trouble understanding why statues that have no clothes on are naked, or why statues don't need to wear clothes.

Now, if you have already imposed your prejudices on them, and they already think that seeing naked things is bad, then it's hard for you to explain why it's OK for you to see nudity, but not them. I understand that. But you should stop blaming your childrens' innocence for your own insecurities.

Unless, of course, you can't restrain your sexual urges while playing PoE, and so actually do have to explain why daddy is carrying out sex acts in front of the computer. I agree that would be a pretty awkward conversation to have with your children, and you probably shouldn't expose them to that until they're older. Or, in fact, ever.

(Note, also, you shouldn't be playing an R18 game in front of children even with censor bars. Use your common sense.)
