Anyone else hate the Imperial Gardens?

I like the environment and the visuals, but the statues aren't among my favorites, and the wheater effects drop my fps. But it is a pretty area nonetheless.
I like it other than the freezy archer statues. Those always suck.
A devouring totem and viper strike can solve many of your problems really.
You won't have my gear.
nicest looking tileset in the game just dont instantly kill 10 porkies at the same time unless you want to lose about 6000 life.

Half the mobs in the gardens make real nice specters: aven fetches, devourers, bow statues. And they are conveniently located nextdoor to the best farm spot outside of maps.
For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it

I hate all of act 3
R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E.
I already absolutely fucking hated act III, BEFORE imperial garden was added. Slums, marketplace, sewers, are all difficult to navigate zones with annoying mobs. Imperial garden just adds another thing to hate in act III.

And yet, I love the fact that I hate it. Having a brutal act that is painful and even annoying to play through is a nice balance to the faceroll-exp fest of ledge/felshrine, and the overall easiness of act I and act II.

For some reason, the garden and its music reminds me of act 3 In Diablo 2. I think the map is okay.. I like leap slamming over the rocks in some of the path ways.
It's ok, not my favorite map but not the worse either. I generally just try to get the plum as fast as possible and then get the hell out to Docks to give it to Captain Fairgraves so he can make his poison wine and die. So while the creatures that shoot thorns when they die and the worm creatures that shoot the nasty fireballs are a major pain and all, I like the challenge they present and I can't just run though and AoE kill all creatures.

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

I can't stand the statues though. Those ice arrow archers are just so annoying. I would happily remove them from the entire game and double the amount of devourer spawns :-/

Yes, AI improvements are needed imo, I agree.

Also, maybe make the zone slightly smaller and perhaps increase the 2 side areas that come off it.

I dont mind porcipines at all though. There is clear dislike for them in this thread which has taken me back a bit tbh. Maybe its because I have high armour characters?!?!
Completely agree. They are fine for my low armour witch.
