How did YOU die in hardcore?

My three death in nemesis:

1) dominus cruel fight crash at level 52. =(

2) Act 1 nemesis at 59. I was using whirling blade with culling strike, very bad idea against volatile nemesis. One shooted with 2.4k life. :D

3) Sarn city normal, I wanted to change trade chat, hit alt + arrow and then pressed enter key without releasing alt. It's switched to windowed mode and by that time I was dead. Most stupid death ever. xD

Well, once to a disconnect. I was standing there, smashing things, end up at the login screen only to login and see I'm in standard.

Once to learning how corrupting blood works, lol. Didn't have a staunching flask on me.

And about 3 dozen other times I don't care to list.

2 x Vaal hammer killed me before the animation or while I was not even on same screen as him...
1 x Life randomly went to 0 while shopping in town...
1 x Ran in like a chop against shot skeletons while I have < 0 resistance!
1 x Killed by charging mobs who were not on my screen!

Fractured flicker strike/discharger.

Killed it, the pack spawned with a charge (apparently the original mob was an 'ally'), they all discharged simultaneously. Instant death.

Sewers in general is bad news. Multiple projectile proximity shield alchemist with regeneration? Sigh.

My last guy (a dual axe Cleave/Dual Strike Marauder) was killed by the death explosion o that unique hedgehog thing in the Imperial Gardens because I'm an idiot and forgot about it.

The guy before that (Dual dagger Spectral Throw Shadow) was killed by the Bear Trap/Ethereal Knives guy in the first zone of Act 3 because I'm an idiot and didn't avoid the bear trap.

The guy before that (Hammer & Shield Lightning Strike Templar) was killed by Dominus' DoT blood rain looking thing because it was my first time up against him and I didn't know what was happening. Go cocky and thought I could tough it out (i.e. I'm an idiot).



All on normal, like the elite pro player that I am.

LvL 4 at the quest where u fight hte frozen thing. Got frozen to death!

was oneshot by white Carrion Queen in a map. yes, after the "fix"

1. Playing in a group of friends, picking up an item and opening up my inventory to look at it. What I didn't know was that someone picked it up before me so I keep looking around and suddenly everyone yells at me to get away..too late =P

2. Unique carrion queen fireballing my butt.

3. Viper strike rogue exile while farming ledge in Merciless without any chaos res gear what so ever.
