How did YOU die in hardcore?

Swapped from life to ES in merc act 1, thought i don't need to cap lightning res - kuduku 1 shot me.

Oooo, that's a bad one for Fractured, eh? Never saw one. Worst I've gotten was a Devourer, which was pre-nerf, but I just ran away.

I'm new to hardcore/nemesis. I died to a champion titty slut and getting surrounded by smaller mobs after moving what key I had leap slam bound to. I knew it was likely going to be a high spike in damage and it was just a real herp de derp move all round. Took like three seconds as well as I slowly thought about how dumb an idea it had been to move so far in.

On the plus side it was with a ground slam Marauder, the first character that has made me want to slit my wrists out of boredom playing.

Alot of these are hilarious. I dont know why but the insta-deaths tickle me. *enemy explodes in death and takes hero with him*

My Marauder, not sure what level.

Merc Barracks. Still not entirely sure what happened but most likely involving the following:

- Desync
- Shock stacks from Arc Mages
- Shield Charge from Elites

Was running away from a big pack of magic monsters to try and seperate them a bit. Suddenly out of nowhere I died, not sure what killed me exactly.

Was nemesis on a lvl 71 marauder. desynced with an elite flame dog (not sure what they are called) and I got hit a couple of mob lengths away from it consistently and I was stupid enough to not just panic exit the game.
First char though in nemesis so atleast I gathered some currency and playing ea was so fun it's all good =)

Behold the death of my dual-wield duelist at level 65 (Nemesis).
I really liked him, he did relatively ok in act2 and act 3 merciless. His resists were almost max with 5 endurance charges. But when I first went to docks, I found the LA exile. One shot. Crit with all three LA projectiles. Triple shock. From 3.1k life to 0 in the blink of an eye. RIP
At least I get the level 65 challenge partially done.

Desync while playing alone has been my only hc death

My evasion bow ranger died to a oneshot by Cruel Dominus, that could've probably been avoided, but I was just a split second too slow.

My leap slam marauder died to a rogue exile with viper strike in Act2 merciless. Could've logged out, but wanted to try to use a portal instead, and was again just a tad too slow.

Both of these chars were on Nemesis, and I don't blame the game for either of my deaths.
