How did YOU die in hardcore?

1) 68 witch : died to loading screen to the new Docks layout, to grab some spectres.
2) 74 witch : died to cruel cavern of anger's red exploding mobs (lols), was using MF gear, forgot about fire res
3) 58 templar : desync VS golems in the beast's cave (act 2)

usually desync while trying to escape.

4 deaths total over about my year of playing.

One of them completely my fault, I was not paying attention and slammed a reflect pack twice with Ek+ chain with a low armor character. I learned from that one. I was sad, I lost alot of nice gear and was level 80, but It was my fault.

Second one, game crashed in CB, due to a bug that was later fixed. Learned nothing and was disheartening

Third one, nasty desync with kole, which on my client I was in a totally different room than him.

Fourth one my fault again, wasn't paying attention to which nemesis mod a certain rare had and it was poor planning and timing on my part and I payed for it. Was level 60 nemesis pretty early in the league.

1. suicided lvl 10? marauder cause i messed up with the refund points in pst early in open beta
2. ripped lvl 27 templar because of shock stacks trying to get rid of a necromancer
3. tried a race and got leapslammed in the last 2 minutes remaining

Despite playing with wlan and having disconnects from dyn. ip i didnt rip because of this yet. Still have 4 lvl 70+ characters on hardcore/nemesis, but i play super slow and careful and usually loose interest at lvl 70+ and start a new one, -> no lvl 70+ maps so far.

The most hilarious death was when i killed Piety on Merc and at long last the pass to "end game" was open. In barracks before the release was a door (Scepter of God) and i die just before it, 2 yellow black guards with some blue and a lot white with lightning casters did some much damage in about 1 second, i was surrounded and died. I never forget that the stairs to Scepter of God, to the safety was on my screen i need just 2 seconds more to reach it. Died with the key from Piety in my inventory.

bought new amulet, didnt realise my cold res dropped to 45ish and got surrounded by merveils daughters



81 spectral throw scion in nemesis

instant triple stack from storm herald cold necromancer -> new longer shocks -> frostbite and cold-skeletons chilled the fuck out of me and died. Desync prevented me from leap slamming away, exactly same what happened to etup vs carnage.



64 spectral throw ranger in nemesis

went to 72 rip map with guild mates and oh well. - max resist, 90+% added lightninh, 4 additional projectiles, vulnerability and something made meatball spitters 1 hit me and almost killed rest of team as well. Had 4.5k hp and 11k armor + 5 endurance charges :F

My last hardcore death was an insta gib in one of the sewars in act 3. 2 rare discharge mobs both unleashed on me at the same time. Bad combo and I wasn't being careful.

If I die in nemesis it will be from corrupting blood if I don't realize it's there in time to hit my no bleed flask.

I had just adapted my lvl 71 to gain another 1000dps and lost some fire res, being only 12%....I then preceeded into the pyramid in merciless and because I had about 1.6 attack speed and didn't check the exploding yellow mob I hit it twice and ripped myself in a glorious explosion of bloodiness xDDDD

I have learnt from this but in my defence I was very tired and it was about 2am after a long day at work :)
