That's a retarded assumption. Just yesterday I did a map with 89% increased fire damage, and vulnerability curse, with GMP. I almost died several times because there were avian retches that did retarded amounts of damage, one of them seriously brought me to 400 life.

For example I play exclusively HC leagues except for one lowbie in Domination league that I play with a buddy.

If I were to say something his retort would be my highest is only 70. You won't win the argument so just let it be."

If he wants to retort that my HC character is level 88 which was a month race character (97% of 87), then he is more than welcome. He clearly doesn't understand how to make a good, survivable melee character.

What map was that exactly? Of course vulnreability extra fire gmp will be challenging with a bad mob roll. That was a risk you should have prepared for before the map.
