Lunaris Temple...ok I'll beg...
" I guess I already did more than 200 maps, but the problem is I usually do 70 to 72 most of the time. As a 87 char I should do 75 maps the whole time but a 75 map is 1 exalt and I did less than 20 of them (generally paying 2 chaos as fee). If we had more areas + lvl 70 to farm probably the price of maps could decrease and people could level without problems. But I understood the way of thinking of GGG, lvl 87 players like me are problems. They prefer the players that always like everything, new ladders, new leagues, hardcore players that always make new chars when die for desync... The idea is to play normal hundred times each change in the game appears. Map system can be improved (Maze need ect) but is fine in genral (if improved), and Max Area Level of 68 outside Maps is fine too.
BUT i see no harm in making lunaris and Piety Level 68 again , so players can choose where to farm exp. Personally i hate the scepter of God mnay stupid doors make cyclone desync and the whole flow of that area is just lackluster in general. Farming Lunaris wasnt exactly super exciting but at least you could do it without the growing desire to smash your head on the keyboard til you pass out. |

Have the new areas as an optional boss run for; -all those gamers that love annoying monsters that drop nothing -all those gamers that love being slowed, tethered, chilled -all those gamers that rejoice at having to open 10,000 doors that just refuse to be selected by the cursor -and all those gamers who think running past everything between the waypoint and the pinata is fun ...and return Lunaris to what it was. "I love being slowed and blocked by pointless things" ~said no gamer ever. Casually casual.

Map system is fine if you view this game as a multiplayer game. Then again if you look at it from single player's perspective, its a failure.

The whole game once you get to A3 merciless and beyond is pretty clearly designed and tuned with multiplayer in mind. Definitely doesn't make sense to me that Lunaris lvl went down, though. And Scepter of God should def be lvl 70+... that place is stupidly hard for its level. I'll add my voice to the choir: There was nothing wrong with Lunaris before; 1.0 did not "expand options for grinding exp outside of maps." It nerfed Lunaris as a potential grind spot, and pseudo buffed Docks by making Lunaris worse. Scepter is not an adequate replacement, not even close. With the pack density in Scepter, the zones could have been level 69 and 70, and level 67, 68 Lunaris would still be a better grind.

" I disagree, even as a multiplayer game is hard to sustain maps after lvl 85. Check the PoE.xyz and search for 75 maps. You´ll see 10 offers, generally for more than 1 exalt. The supply of higher maps is too short that you must join a group to buy maps and pray for other high map drops. Something must be done, they introduced 78 maps but the price of 77, 76, 75 and 74 is the same. I know some +90 lvl chars that use RMT sites to get exalts to buy maps, they say: "I´m not using to buy gear, only to continue playing. It´s not unfair." I can´t agree with it but I can´t say they had none reasons to do that. GGG please change it. +1000 agree with the OP, I was devastated when they lowered the Temple zones to 65/66, being level 87 the exp gain is beyond horrendous now(tried mapping but don't ever see higher than level 68 maps drop so give up again since ggg still insist on dropping lower level maps inside current maps), really was expecting the new zones to be 70ish at the very least.

Agreed. The Sceptre pales in comparision to Lunaris (or anyting else really), from every POV. It's a crappy area, with low pack density annoying troll mobs that drop shyt. Its good for nothing: not for XP, not for loot. A player would need a huge incentive to stop and fight the mobs on the path to Dominus.
