--------------- There was alrdy the "Chaos of Maelstroem" in this game in closed Beta = endless dungeon. They removed it, because....it was to boring? Actually I don't know why, it was before I joined, but I also always wanted it to be reintroduced. I don't like the mapping system at all as pure endgame content. " I agree. They did a good job with the new areas in terms of design, new monsters, mobs that use barrier... But the problem to old players (+80) goes on. The supply of maps is still short, so without effective new areas to level is hard to continue playing. Imagine that people will always create new chars forever is a failure. the amount of dumb in this thread is amazing. GGG has done wonders with the map system to make it hard for bad players to get to a higher level. its supposed to be difficult.

Uhh.. Have any of you guys complaining about maps actually tried, you know, playing the game? Even casually farming I get tons of 66 map drops. Vaal runs or piety runs are your best bet.

I would like to see an option for level progression
Map is/should be mostly about gear progression, bit of a gamble, you invest currency and try your luck at clearing hard maps to gain high ilvl items etc. Then there should be some option that is more focused on leveling, maybe something easy as the old maelstrom of chaos. IMO there should be 3 end game things, item hunt,exp hunt and something kinda braindead middle ground for those who mostly enjoy slaying monsters while not doing to much thinking. |

library is too small to farm, scepter has no mobs in it and stupid small lvls with 30doors in it...its nice to watch once but not to play more then once...
what do these guys think when creating this??? and about farming maps, look my lvl83 duelist i can post you all his items and stuff...i can play up to lvl70 maps, any benefit? no its hard to even stay on that lvl of maps not talking about getting higher ones, if i could get more higher i couldnt roll them decent because my gear doesnt allow to do them. how to lvl up now in this patch? would need maps lvl73+ with lots of mobs to be any efficient. how to find gear now you may ask...well i got no fkn clue, been playing ~5months now and i havent found anything USEFUL for act3 merciless QUESTING. the low-mid lvl items i have are traded and some even donated cause people see how i try without success.. you can not sell any "medium" rare item its worth nothing. found 2exalt 1eternal by playing lvl83, 79, 66 chars not bad yes, but cant buy a decent 5l chest with it not thinking about good weapon or jewelery...lol i wonder, you read about peoples story they farm 75+ maps and get no gear from it...i really think of leaving this game because its just not rewarding. bought weapon&helm effects and really loved it the time in open beta cause u get happy for small things like "wow i can stand hard mods on lvl68map by now"...but sooner or later more people will think like me and just go away. especially the latest ones via steam want (i guess) a fun game, wich it isnt anymore when u reach act3merciless and did all quests u cant farm decently anywhere now, library is kinda ok but lunaris was perfect to lvl85 ...cant see an area now where u get this in an ok amount of time. the patchnote lie about "lvl anywhere u want to 100" was fishing for compliments and with the 2%max penatly just managed so they "did" it but its not. solution to the map/farm prob? recreate maps: only lvl75-80 maps or even higher like 80-90 .. small amount of possible stats and the boss has to be really strong with decent loot to get GEAR and/or currency to trade for needed gear! =groupplay and diffrent builds/auras in group make sense again, guilds are of more use since u want a farming group to share stuff and help each other! to lvl your char and farm starting amount of gear for maps or small trades: lunaris lvl68 with a piety lvl71 so its a boss again and worth farming for people who cant stand the map-mobs dmg. library / scepter should be higher so area lvl70 wich makes dominus 73 (yes bosses have to be higher then rares) wich doesnt mean his dmg needs to be op or buggy.. but fair increase scepter mob groups by 80-120% and open(!) 50% of the doors or even remove. does it need so much small lvls? 1lvl to upper scepter 3 to domi? make that a new waypoint so its 2lvls up to domi fight and these 2 bigger, when entering scepter first time 1 bgger lvl to the wp... €. forgot to say thats what killed d3 in my eyes and other games too, people are kinda pushed to trade stuff on other websites, ruins worth of low-mid gear cause all only look for perfect gems/uniques and let bots farm/spam(or pay realmoney) to pose in town or pvp with ubber gear..or even get money since its popular to stream and stuff nowadays, in the old days the earn money part was rage-quit-selling the acc after a mule acc got bot-banned :P Last edited by Dudd1tZ#1154 on Oct 30, 2013, 7:48:50 PM

Actually, no one cares if they restore lunaris to 68, once you hit 85, leveling there will be shit again. The whole problem is having a rng end game like maps, they promised to keep maps as best items rewarding and giving us something else for XP. This was months ago. Im so disappointed that now with the release nothing changed.
And so much work for new areas that no one will visit more than once, i save only the library part I'm just becoming more and more sure of they want to, once you hit 8x, roll another char "The exodus of humanity in search of a new home?
