Does anyone think movement feels weird?

I just started playing this game yesterday, and right when I started playing the game gave me headaches. For a while I didnt understand why, but then I really noticed how my character moves. The characters seem to flow left/right more then they turn in the direction. This causes very awkward movement and a weird sliding effect. From the people ive talked to, most dont notice it and some think im crazy, but some ppl say they notice it too. I play diablo and torchlight(DO NOT TALK ABOUT THRSE GAMES ON MY POST UNLESS ITS ABOUT THE MOVEMENT) and I never get headaches from them, and they seem(to me at least) to have better movement. In both of tose games they seem to turn quicker which idk if its just what im used to, but it feels so much better to me. I absolutley love PoE even only having played it a very small amount, the systems are just beautiful, but I really hope that I either get used to the movement or its made a little smoother. Do you guys notice this too? Ik that im not crazy, I notice the little things when it comes to video games and this is something I feel, even if its not the most importsnt thing, is something that a fix would imo improve the quality of the game.
What settings are you using like post proc, resolution, v-sync?
Sounds like you might have the settings too high perhaps and that's causing that awkward movement feeling you're getting.
I dont know, the movement always seemed ok to me
There is definitely a difference between moving in TL2 vs POE (can't speak for D3 since I've never played it), so yeah, it's not just you. However I'm not sure it's necessarily a bad thing (maybe it is, grid based?), it will probably take you a little while to get used to the difference and adjust.
I'm not sure what exactly are you describing in OP but I think there is still some space for improvements of the movement in PoE.

The movement animations for the characters takes a ton of work, I'd Imagine that even if GGG agree that it needs to be fixed it's probably at the bottom of a very long list of things to do.
Yes, I have to agree 100%. I haven't ever analyzed why, but the movement is quite awkward, compared to Diablo 3 for example.
Movement in TL2 is definately alot smoother, but the movement in PoE is improved from what it was when i first started playing in March.

When I first played PoE I noticed the movement is a bit awkward, but I got used to it very quickly. Never really had a problem with it after that. I feel it could be improved a little, but it's not really a major issue in my opinion.

It was quite worse before they patched it.

I think the issue is in the turning speed.Making it instant would be perfect.Unless there's a balance reason not to,or something.
