Off Topic - Now that Diablo 3 is dead, will POE deliver? - Forum

well while D3 certainly isn't dead yet, though I wish it would be. As for PoE delivering? It isn't even finished yet and it already has delivered. I tell everyone I know who likes games just how awesome this game is! I've gotten a number of people interested. Some of my friends are in the closed beta, other people I recommended it to tried it during an open beta weekend. I got one guy I know completely hooked on the game after the third open beta weekend. It might have a slow launch into open beta, but I know alot of people that are fed up with the "dumbed down" and "cartoony" looking games. " Exudering wrote: 1. It will be a cool debate Chris Wilson vs Jay Wilson. Let's not forget the most important thing in a rpg online game: gamers. If you make a game just for noobs that care about making 100.000.000.000.000 gold and farm all day without any fun, then they will be the only gamers that will play the game. This happens to diablo 3 right now. I will still play D3 hardcore just for fun and just in "public games" until POE will go on open beta. After that i don't think even diablo 3 arena will make me come back to the softcore because of what duppers and ah has done to the game.
