Now that Diablo 3 is dead, will POE deliver?

D3 is dead because of the duppers and AH. This is a perfect time for POE to go on Open beta. I sure hope that many ex-d3 players will play this game. What do you think, it would be a "bomb" when it cames out?

D3 is far from dead, but yeah, I do think PoE will be a nice breath of refreshment for people that have quit D3.

D3 isn't dead. It still gets over 5k viewers in twitch.tv streams. You gotta respect that.

D3 is still clinging on so calling it dead might be a bit too soon. This will still be a good opportunity for an open beta and also a coffin nail for D3 but I am not confident at all if the game in its current state will be able to stay aloft for long. It needs a lot more things added on to it before exposing it to the public IMO.
I think GGG should take their time and go for an OB when they are absolutely sure. I imagine many will show the same D3 like fatigue only at an accelerated rate. "How would you like it if I snuck into your country and did this job over there... and not cash in any of your friggin checks?!! You WONT!! Because you will be right here!!" - Master Shake.

" What? When did they change the cap for PoE to be only 60lvl? I thought the max lvl is 100? Did anyone ever get to lvl 100? Also D3 is not dead, and never will be, because the game is good, simple as that. It is not the best arpg game out there, and is maybe not a sequel to diablo that a lot of fans expected, but it is still a good game. |

POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!

That is what i was talking about, dead for real diablo fans, not wow farming chimps.
If you have a look at the new site and read the front page you will now that D3 is dead because POE will be born. Every single fix that d3 needs this game has from open beta. I don't like to play a lot of games and i quit diablo after that dupping thing. I really hope POE will not be affected by dupping. |
