Eurogamer POE review, 7/10

TL 2's sense of style? This game oozes flavor, I wonder what the reviewers were thinking when they wrote that nonsense. Combat pacing feels off, but that's about it as far as core gameplay.
I wouldn't take Eurogamer's review too seriously. It seems like a dated version of POE (screenshot of the old POE skill tree) and no mention at all of PVP, new class, etc... I think it's lazy game journalism on their part which reflects badly on them.
What else would you expect from a blizz fanboy site.

The one who wrote that crap couldn't understand style and polish even if it spit him in the eyes.

Lazy journalism is reviewing a game not stating or subtracting points that the game's entire netoode is fundamentally broken and the game desyncs worse than any game with a online requirement.

That's lazy journalism...

You guys need to take that 7 and be grateful...

Lol, so true.
Not familiar with Eurogamer, specifically. I find review sites useful for screenshots and some information about games, but not for opinions. Diablo 3 received rave reviews and I would strongly disagree. Similarly, many review sites gave Civilization 5 high scores. I still fire up Civ4: BTS from time to time, but I can't tell you the last time I played Civ5. That game was possibly the biggest gaming disappointment I have experienced.
Seemed like an honest, legit review. You're kidding yourself if you think this gameis higher than a 7. Desync alone drops you 1-2 points minimum, so he was probably being generous as he didn't even mention it.

He clearly states its a good game.

I did kindly offer, since I have reviewed for several years online when I was younger and most probably played the game more extensively than them, to give an in-depth and balanced review. I don't see how this game, especially as an exemplerary free to play model, justifies this low score. Sure it has a couple of issues, but I don't ever see how it justifies 7/10.

Its a bit weird to say it isnt a great arpg at the end of a review full of praise

QFT

Also he mentions too easy difficulty but only shows pictures of Act 1 Normal.
Geez, I wonder how this conclusion came across.

Pretty bad review, missing many pros and not covering cons to a respectable extent.
This review really lacks in both directions and is shallow at best.

D3 got a 9, seems legit.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
