Forum Moderation severe issue

Hello,

Not sure it's the right place for it and I am not sure how much time moderator can spend on forum but hell,

why :

- they allow to be opened dozens of thread treating the same exact issue ? ( ex Legacy or SFL )
- they allow multiple troll thread ( ex "Hey the game is dead , isnt it ? " )
- they allow AW thread ( ex "hey I create this thread to inform you that I don't go Eternal because my build is nerfed badly " )

Personnal attacks are moderated on report but well, this is not 100 % of what we expect from moderators. You should do MORE to keep this forum something usefull.


Right now, this forum become unreadable and shit because pretty nothing is moderated, it's just a mess.

Agree, and they need to make a button to report posts asap, the whole thing about sending a message to a mod is silly.

id say theres a need for offtopic forum where all the trash threads would be moved

well , I could report the 10 threads about "I am mad with patch xxx, I QUIT" , or the 25 threads about Legacy unique, or the 10 threads about SFL, or the 50 thread where people prefer to open new thread to give their opinion instead of using existing ones...

But why should I ? If you spend time on this forum, I am pretty sure that you already notice all of them.

It's all about moderation policy. Today there is absolutely none, except moderating personnal attacks, which is good, but not enough in my humble opinion.

edit : and yes, need a "Report" Button... sending a mail each time we notice something wrong is clearly painfull.

It is very much readable and 99% of all posts, including mine have always been shit. So yeah, I don't see any issues :).

@Bex, What you need is either :

1) Unique threads. ( example : DESYNC [Unique thread] / Trading is useless [Unique thread] / Trading is not useless [Unique thread] )

or
2) More subforums.

Duplicate threads?Insta lock

Trolling,repeating starting the same thread after it's been closed?Warnings at first,then you cannot post for what could be weeks to months.Or insta ban if you are obviously trolling.

Personal attacks?Your message gets deleted and you get a sanction,do that more than a couple of times and you will get banned.

Necro thread?Insta lock and the offender punished

Is there a subject that the mods think it can only cause flame wars (like payment plans in their case,until it was officially announced) that subject is not available for discussion (your thread will get insta locked)

I know that sounds a little bit excessive moderating,but those forums are the cleanest and constructive boards i have ever seen.Sure,people argue about stuff there too,but they do it in a constructive way.
