Account Banned W/O Any Explanation

http://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-posts/kurayuki/page/2
Two posts here were removed by an admin, they were most probably the reason why you got banned.

You may not have written those posts, if your account was accessed by someone else- but in the end it is your account and you are responsible for all actions by it.

However I should imagine that the admin made sure your account was not compromised, and so you probably can try to remember what you wrote in those posts.

i can imagine ggg-support being pretty busy at the moment with last minute sales of supporter packs.

That and abuse of self-promotion bumps.

So today, I log in to PoE and start farming docks.

All of a sudden screen stops and puts me into login screen.

Well, I don't sweat. Disconnection and crashes are often and they're pretty much the few shortcomings of this otherwise perfect game, so I click login again.

Then, I receive this message

"
Login Error
Your Account has been Banned by Administrator

I can't believe what I'm seeing so I click again, same thing. I retype in my login information, same thing.

Now, to clarify, I have NEVER done RMT, used macro, or anything I could possibly think of that would cause a ban whatsoever. It was so out of the left field it just left me shocked.

So I head onto the forums click support, there's no direction on where to approach for bans and etc. so I make a reasonable approach of e-mailing support e-mail, which then occurs to me

Oh, if they're going to ban my account they may haven mistaken it for something and must have done me the common minimum courtesy of explaining WHY it was banned

Upon going to my e-mail to write/check the e-mail, I find ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. So I get banned for reason unbeknownst to me without a single word, which is quite upsetting.

Of course I proceeded to write an e-mail inquiring about the ban but this whole thing left a sour note in my mouth.

If you're going to ban accounts people spend hours and hours of time and money on (yes I did spend money on my account not really because of need for it but because I felt that game was awesome and I should contribute what little I could for enjoying it)

Then at least do the minimum courtesy of sending a notice of what and why certain action is happening.

Once again, I have not done any RMT, used macros, nor anything I could possibly think of that would result in a ban other than simply playing the game

About the Dev deleted posts

"
C) Nope. Only thing that REMOTELY comes close to this was when I posted in a thread that I firmly believed was a person trying to scam somebody and logically listed reasons why I thought it was a scam in neutral manner only with facts. The post was removed by administrator presumably by thread creator's request and the sale "magically" ended within minutes with sketchy original c/o bidder whom the seller refused to validate. Even so, this is not a account ban activity. As a matter of fact, I didn't even receive posting probation.

I did explain what they were wish I actually had the original post to show you because I don't even think that they were deserving of deletion (had no hostility, profanity just analytical) but no that cannot even possibly be the reason.

Wow, this just shows how you've actually not even bothered to look into the matter at all as I have NEVER abused self promotion bumps. There is not a single thread where I did not adhere to the rule of one self promotion bump per hour rule-of-thumb.

Seriously, if you're going to just toss out one liner at least do yourself the favor of doing minimum research

Thank you for your response but

As mentioned in original post, I've sent e-mail about the matter.

Pretty much all I've received so far was the short e-mail from you saying it's been sent to investigations.

Well at least this time you gave me an apology for the inconvenience caused by this so I guess that's an improvement. (Not being sarcastic)

Just hope account will be fixed at least by launch

I'm not going to argue with you. You have posts edited by admins and bumps 5 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. apart. Anyone that looks at your post history can see that. You can think you did nothing wrong all you want. I'm out.

Argue? If you're going to accuse someone then at least have the minimum courtesy of following them with facts or apologize for doing so when proven wrong.

My post history

All Threads I have created to show how I've "broken" the rules and abused self bumps? according to you by adhering to the 1 self bump per hour rule

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/542861

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/544619

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/542873

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/537627

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/537746

If you're trying to tell me that I broke the rule that I wasn't aware of that "you cannot bump different thread within the hour" then well you got me.

This is the thread you keep throwing at me about deleted posts

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/543394

Encountered someone I still firmly believe to have attempted to scam someone for a magic amulet with double IIR rolls. I wasn't the only person behind this suspicion. My original post explaining why I thought the price was unreasonable and how the seller refused to validate the 10 EX bidder ingame when asked and put me an ignore when I said he shouldn't try to scam people.

Post was removed presumably by seller's request.

Then I posted I'm not going to bother to retype everything but hope people can make smart decision.

Post got removed again.

Sale magically ended within minutes by ghost buyer

I wasn't the only person who was suspicious and also another person's post was removed by admin and judging from the seller's response later it's highly probable that it was all done by request by the seller.

I pride myself in the fact that I am and have always been a legitimate gamer and I don't hide behind anonymity of internet and throw out irresponsible comments that can defame others. If I do say something it's if I believe to be right and after I actually find facts to have sufficient reason for it.

And when I'm wrong I have always had enough maturity to apologize for being wrong or try to amend the issue.

So in your case, none of those apply apparently

Ah I see, sorry I missed that.

I have checked the status of your account and I can see that it is still being investigated, so we haven't forgotten about or lost your case!
I'm sorry that I don't have a more substantial update for you at this time.

Thanks for checking. At least it's reassuring to know it's at least being looked into.

Well I apologize for going off tangent because of some people who just seem to be unable to throw in their two cents without showing any sense of responsibility online.

I'm sure you're busy with the full release but really I'd appreciate it if this issue is rectified before full release as it'd upset me a lot more since that'd ruin all the promises and plans I've made with friends for the new league

Well something that indicates, though I may be mistaken, there is some kind of progress occuring has happened.

Apparently my IP is no longer banned, only the account. It means that at least something is going on about my case, which I'll take as a positive sign, seeing as I don't have anything to be afraid of.

I think it's around noon in NZ so hopefully something will happen by end of business hours.

Also, as I've mentioned in original e-mail, I'd like a report on the reason for the ban in reasonable detail whether it gets lifted or not and appropriate courtesy along with it. As I've said numerous time, biggest upsetting factor with what had happened was not only that my account was banned for no reason I could possibly think of but it was done in very inconsiderate manner without any kind of notification nor explanation.

I fully understand the company is preoccupied with the launch but as a paying customer, I believe that's a reasonable request considering the inconvenience caused.
