by BM i mean classes casting main skill from life with linked gem, and usually have all the mana reserved to percentage auras

If it doesnt work with ES, its useless except with EB / life builds, in which case the trek from EB to MS is huge

meeeh, we will see how it will work out

probably wont be too big a thing to build around, just a gimmick

Oh, I meant the BM keystone. It will work for people using the BM keystone(Gem?) as long as they have the mana to take damage. To clarify, that affix is what I designed for my unique, it was just taken as a keystone as well, so we'll see how they turn out!

Er yeah I meant gem. Sorry it's 4:30 AM :(
I love it, it's a nice alternative to aura min-maxing.
That was my goal! I wanted high mana to be used for more than just stacking auras and I hope that this affix (both the keystone and on my unique) does that.

I should mention that it's still not final and things could and very likely might change between now and release.

Can I add one simple question?

In case I was using Arctic Armour, would it be turned off if I was hit strong enough?

I believe it would work this way, which makes it (unintentionally?) too risky.. Has this been considered or are there any plans to work around that? Like not getting hit below 2 Manapoints or something? I really think this Keystone has high potential and high mana characters usually can afford to use AA as well.. But if you were at the constant risk of having it turned off.. I dunno?
I think its a really cool idea, I mean if you have certain builds like mine that already require an insane amount of mana regen/mana pool to use their skills, adding lets say, a dream fragment and 4-5 more points into maximum mana nodes, thats not a bad trade to take 30% less damage from literally everything. People invest a lot more than this to try and get 30% more armor.

Also I noticed its very close to iron reflexes on the skill tree, which is quite nice since that keystone is one of the best. We'll see how it works out, kinda reminds me a lot of the energy shield skill from diablo 2.

Edit- The more I think about it, you could probably make a character with just insane mana regen and run artic armor/mana shield/IR with grace/determination. I think if you could somehow get 7-8k armor pre granite and have the mana regen to run arctic armor/mana shield it could be a pretty solid build.
