Difficulty Level Naming
" Just a bit of a nitpick here: "Hard" doesn't really go with "Cruel" and "Ruthless". It's really more of a relative adjective whereas the other two are independently descriptive. Also, having the easiest difficulty called "Hard" is like the fast food restaurants that only have medium, large and extra large drink sizes (medium simply can't come at either end of the scale and make sense). If Hard is actually the easy difficulty it's just a meaningless word. For the fourth difficulty, my suggestion is "Unforgiving". |

I think that ''insane'' should fit just fine. :)

Ah, there's the word I was searching for. Vicious.
Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. Still, Wraeclast still feels like a (not 'the') good pick on this end, possibly because I'm pronouncing it "ray-classed", making it adjective-like. I have wandered through insanity;

"I see what you're saying but it is possible for the "easiest" difficulty to be hard. e.g. The easiest way to launch a shuttle into space is still going to be really difficult. |

They need to add an "easy" setting, but call it "Path of Fluffy Rainbows" and when you play everything is bright pinkly colored and there's no gore.
That way noone will play "easy" anyways :). |

This thread is not about diablo 3, it's about naming the fourth difficulty -
Insane or Unforgiving. I also liked Brutal. Happy Days Abound.
