What's my bottleneck?

I have great high end parts and still get lag in groups because of all the particles.
Unless you get some absurd video card, you probably won't notice a difference. "You can't bash someone else's shitty taste in music when you listen to 'grindcore'" -TheWretch̢

I'd be interested to see how much is loaded into RAM and how often the game accesses data on the HDD for music/sound.
Can anyone running the game from an SSD confirm a performance increased over HDD? |

Running from an SSD doesn't increase performance.
Tried the game from HDD, SSD, and Ramdisk, performance is always identical. Load times disappear entirely on a ramdisk though, would be very advantageous during races. (b) Personal abuse, foul language, inappropriate subject matter, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory or defamatory remarks of any nature ... are not permitted.

This game doesn't seem to load any files after an area is loaded once. It would just read the map data off the drive and then load and run it from the ram, so all that an SSD would do is reduce the loading times.
