Alt+F4 (or rather escape->logout) is a gameplay choice. If I know I can do it, I play more recklessly. If I can't do it (like in the cutthroat races), I play it more safe. It has nothing to do with skill or being/not being 'hardcore'. Deal with it softcorers. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence. What hardcore means for me when talking about path of exile is how unrewarding it is and mostly beneficial for "nolifers". Also races as a competition fit perfectly in that picture.. I do consider myself a hardcore gamer with a limited amount of available time to play.
