What about the face in the middle. I always thought they would release a general class that starts in the middle. Its not as if it would take much extra to make this a new starting position and stick a character model in the game.

Game files also have that enabled but I guess it doesn't tell much.

Actually, it would require a lot of work for them to add another class. Many people have requested an option to provide alternate genders for each of the existing classes, but it is unlikely to happen because it requires a ton of work and money. Different classes (or genders) hold weapons differently, wear armor differently, have different attacking/running/casting animations, and have different voice acting. I'd imagine one of the primary reasons you see so many helm micro-transactions and no chest micro-transactions is because they have to a do a lot of extra work to make armor work for each and every class.

Additionally, I'd expect an additional class to be accompanied with a few entirely new skill gems. Each of the other additional classes introduced a somewhat new type of gameplay (the shadow, for instance, introduced traps). Of course, this may not be the case if they do decide to make a new class. It wouldn't be completely unreasonable for a bonus 'jack of all trades' class to not have any new skill gems.
