Path of Exile Release Date Set for October the 23rd

I just hope they have some localizations ready by then. Some of my none english speaking friends would like to play the game too.

And complex game + foreign language... well, I wouldn't play this too if PoE was only in Russian. =)
If I'm right, that website gets money for views of the adverts. Regardless if this is not true, the views will remain and ker-ching.

Unless those nodes get buffed that "7th class" would hardly be overpowered. Probably one of the weakest class of all.


They would be able to get CI and US more easily than any other class with the option of going towards the Templar area to get the armor/ES nodes and other goodies or right for the eva/ES nodes near the shadow. The starting nodes aren't as stellar, but for builds that cross the skill tree it would be far easier.

EDIT: plus, conduit discharges would have conduit super quick as well as increased area nodes. The middle would just provide a wider range of options than any other starting point.


A "discharge" build example.
60 points

First 5 points of the "middle" class:
40% mana regen, 4% radius x3, 30 int.

First 5 points of the witch:
40% mana regen, 8% mana x2, 10% es cooldown reduction x2.

The "middle" class has no hard-to-access-from-the-outside "exclusive" notables like Elemental Dominion. As a spell caster build, you will STILL have to loop from the top to the bottom from the outside because the other 4 routes are literally pointless to get for most part.

Show me builds that would benefit from starting in the middle over the other classes. At the moment (with the current state of the middle nodes) I just don't see it.

The only advantage from starting in the middle is when you don't need to reach the starting nodes of any other character to make an end game build. That way you save points. Other than that it is only a character with another skin.
And ther's also a full respec planned, so there must be a great rework of the skill tree comming...
