could we pls get a word from some GGG member?

It's pretty funny that this isn't getting much attention. It's probably because it contains too much unexpected information, especially the bit about another character class. It isn't even showing up on the front page of the pathofexile subreddit.

I would have thought this was fake, if not for the fact that I remember GGG doing interviews for incgamers in the past. I seem to recall that incgamers even had a Path of Exile week a while back.

edit: It actually seems like the reddit submission has been shadow deleted. In other words, it only shows up if you go to the exact URL of the submission. I'm guessing one of the reddit mods marked it for deletion because they assumed it was fake. LOL

Or someone from GGG asked for it to be pulled. Imho IncGamers jumped the gun and that info wasn't supposed to appear today...

Yes, but in that case I'd expect incgamers to pull the story as well. I think this is the case of a reddit moderator stepping in and declaring it fake rather than letting the community decide for itself.

Just to clarify this is official. I understand fan's scepticism about the news but it is 100%. GGG will no doubt be updating everyone on this shortly. Timing may have been an issue with the announcement but we always hop right on POE updates when they land in the team's in-boxes.

IncGamers doesn't write rumours or fake news and we have been strong advocates of GGG and POE for many years so we are not likely to post incorrect information.

As for what's in store, to say I'm excited is an understatement, there are so many cool new additions now for launch making this a really solid ARPG. Hoing to be fun playing in the week's ahead knowing what's coming up :)

Can't wait for the official unveil :)
