Just to throw in my 2 cents and probably never check this thread again..

I bought my PoE access, Borderlands 2 and Torchlight 2 around the same time. Can't remember if i had D3 before doing that, but thats very likely.

I finished D3 normal with a monk and gave away my Blizz account to a family member. It was incredibly boring. With very new skill and rune i got, I remember trying it and thinking "does it even matter?". No control over anything, doing the same path everybody would playing this class. Now, I'm not one of the bad-ass level-60-HC-in-act4-inferno-in-2-days-from-launch kind of player, who's opinions are probably valued more - But that was enough for me to understand i have nothing to do in that game. Add to the fact i never PvP... that's done for.

I played TL2 for about 2-3 hours and decided it's not worth my time at all. As much as TL1 was boring after finishing the short campaign, TL2 seemed ever more boring in quite a few aspects.

I played and still play Borderlands 2 for a bit every week, But i'm well aware that after i get through my 2nd play-through there won't be much for me to play there, beyond maybe another class (unlikely) or hunting achievements (which has no real point to it).

PםE made me play more hours than i put into almost every other gear in the last two years. Says much in my own opinion.

Now, that's my PERSONAL OPINION, rather than me trying to convince people not to try it - Au Contraire, ALWAYS try things before deciding. Crowd-sourced opinions are not always to be trusted.

No really I don't understand why people feel the need to make these threads. You've found another game that you like, great! Genuinely; good for you. For most people I think that's the beginning and ending of the revelation.

ok i also thought TL2 was the diablo 3 killer and i didnt even think TL2 was amazing this game however (specially now thats its open to public)......well it is quite literally amazing and what diablo 3 should have been......only now do i really recall the enjoyment i had while putting countless hours into d2.

there is no comparison... diablo 3 caters to the idea that the player is stupid and doesnt want to make crucial decisions in his player experience. this game does the opposite in giving its players so many decisions they feel scared at first... then supremely empowered by how much REAL control of the game they have

To the guy Bitching at Diamond/Gold supporters on how they could invest money on such a "Horrible" game well its about the same reason why you continue to support an absolute steaming pile of crap known as Diablo 3.

Also,pretty sure he hates on this game because it is kinda slow at the start.I,for example,have trouble staying interested in act 1 normal as a ranger.But I know it gets better,while OP didn't/
